As for this artwork, it's pretty nice and cool. It has an awesome vision and an excellent impact. The technique's very cool. Not really shabby. Originality's very great. Pretty wonderful! Nice. Actually, very nice. A person's hand's touch is very tamed and great. It's never lame at all. The design is anime inspiring. It's terrific and way cool. It really looks beyond modern. Yes, it is. Very wonderful, it's without a doubt. The touching is imaginative. So incredibly great. So lifelike it is to be. Wow. It's never bland at all. It's way much better than Barney the dinosaur. Cool.

Firstly... I LOVE THE CONCEPT!!.. But I've seen paintings like this in traditional media.. But haven't really seen it in digital media.. But dude.. I gotta hand it to you.. It's fudging amazing! Cause I wouldn't be able to pull that!..
Anyway for pulling that off I would say 5/5 originality 4/5 because I've seen art similar to that. Technique 4.5/5 because I know you can do better everyone even I can!.. Maybe the shadow effect ish thingy near the hand could have been darker.. Dude I'm more. More of a traditional artist.although yeah.. I use DAmuro and all.. For impact 4/5 because that shadow ish thingy!
FYI - I try my best to be realllllyyyyy mean when it come to all this because if you are harsh with someone that's when you can bring change right.

That is a great picture. You have made such a wonderful idea by merging reality with imagination. The way the character and artist's hands are placed show a deep connection between them to such an extent that it feels like the character is alive, having feelings similar to the artist's, which are to be shared with one another.

As usual, the artist's style is beautiful. The white background fits great with the character's features. But unfortunately, I am noticing that the artist exaggerated in the distance of the character's mouth; it is too far from the nose. As we can see, his mouth is really close to the right and this is resulting to a contradiction between the angle of his head and his mouth. In fact, it gives the superficial viewer a confusion that it is either the shading technique that is flubbed or the figures which could for instance be: the position of the nose, the face, the eyes or the mouth. I understand that the art of Manga has a particularly different style, but if only you had taken the mouth a little, just a little bit closer to the left side. That would have definitely given the viewer a better sight for the eye!

However, in this image, the artist did not just show us an Original Character she drew, she showed us both an ordinary Original Character that can be done by any artist, and the desire of every artist who is having an obsession with his/her fictional character, which WAS too impossible to be put on a paper. This creative technique of yours has made the concept extremely unique and successfully worth the front-page, although the photograph's resolution is not quite rich in quality on the other hand. Yet, you do not need to worry about that since the concept is clearly reachable to the viewer and I suppose that is what really counts. Well done, Michi!

Words cannot express how freaking amazing that is.
It seriously looks like you literally stuck your fingers through the monitor, which is freaking awesome.
The colouring could be a little more detailed, but I'm not that nitpicky. I'd probably just get lazy halfway through after working so hard on the fingers <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":|" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="402" title=":| (Blank Stare)"/>
I like how it's not just the picture, but it's the whole software itself that's showing on your monitor, I think that really makes it look like you're kinda... connecting with the OC?
I don't know how to explain it, but it adds to the feels.
The fingers look just a little off. You could try to use your own hands to reference, but the middle finger especially looks off (I'm sorry if I'm a little too focused on the fingers, but this is my first time seeing such a piece).
Some people might say "go add a background", but I personally think the lack of background brings out the character so much more, and it makes the character look a little more lonely, so it adds to the feel of being able to connect with his maker.
Some more expression on your OC might've been better, maybe a surprised expression because he can touch his maker for the first time, maybe happiness, etc, then again, as I had said before, I probably would've completely disregarded the expression entirely if I was working on this.
Overall, I really really like this piece. It's really well done. I don't think I can ever do something like that (I'll probably get lazy and stop halfway).
Very well done. Good job (:

First of all, I wanted to say...WOW! The ideas behind this are simply incredible!
And naow onto the critique.
Vision- Well, I have to say, your vision here is pretty fantastic. I'm sure any artist, including myself, wishes this could really happen. Kudos to you for this one!

Originality- This could be perhaps the most original work I have ever seen. I can tell you right now that many artists will try to do spinoffs on this one because it is so unique. The idea of reaching into the computer may not be the most original, but the fact that it is to meet someone who is obviously important to you makes it a 4. Combined with your art and the OC noticing you are there, that adds another star.

Technique- While the art itself could be a bit better, your skill alone has really blown me away. I especially like how you added the tips of your fingers into the drawing.

Impact- This picture, overall, has a very strong impact. It shows just how much you wish to meet one of your OCs, without following the stereotype path of simply drawing yourself with them.

Overall Critique- EXCELLENT job! It's a very touching piece, and I can't wait to see more!

This is a very, very thoughtfully created piece of artwork that is extremely creative. When I first saw this, I thought that it was a tablet and the hand was working on the painting, and as I maximized it, I realized WOAH the hand is IN the painting! Genius <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>
I've seen pieces where a hand is seemingly drawn into the picture/painting, and those always amaze me. The precision and placement is key, and you did very well in this case. I've never seen the 3D pieces expressed in this fashion, as a hand engaging in the artist's painting. Very good idea <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/> I still can't figure out where the rest of your actual hand is, and I like how the computer screen seemingly has a magical filter of some sort. The hand placement is amazing, precise, and accurate, I can't stress that enough <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/> Though I'm not quite sure whether the hand is reaching into the painting, or being pulled into the painting, or merely touching the painting, or whatnot.
And to comment on the actual painting of your new OC, the expression is very clever and well fitted to the overal picture. I like the coloring palette, especially the violet, piercing eyes. The shading is very well done as well, and the anatomy is perfect (if you don't mind that word and it's many opinions about it's definition <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>). It is rather simple though, but I like that <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>
If I had to point out anything at all, it'd be that the hand inside the painting that belongs to the OC does not seems to be part of the OC. It seems somehow oddly disconnected.
Other than the few minor critiques, this is a very creative and clever piece. Well done!

Wow this is quite beautiful; I mean it's sweet that you managed to do something that you put your fingers inside the screen. I mean, this is the first time I see something like that, to tell you the truth.

It's really a nice touch; really I'll say this a hundred times: I love it. Including your OC is so cute. It's true that he looks likes like a "dream boy"- anyways, just saying that you did a fantastic job on this. I really love the "fingers in the screen" style.

Sincerely, this is a nice touch. Good job.

This is a very beautiful work! I love that you used one of your own characters. It gives the picture more feeling, I think.
The way you made the fingers going through the screen is really well done. Amazing photo manipulation. Very impressive.
The angle from which you chose to do this also make it better, I think. It gives the picture more feeling, and makes for a better impact.
As does Long's expression. It seems like this is HIS dream, too!
I also like the picture quality. The clarity you got here speaks WONDERS about your camera! The lack of lines on the computer screen, paired with how well it seems to do in low light, without creating a flash reflection, is very nice.
Overall? Great job! Love it! <3

well there is not that much that I can say that bad about it because its a very good pic and I love it <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l…" width="26" height="17" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="276" title="Love"/>
But it does have some out of place lines but the colouring could be a little duller

however the pic is very original and unique and one that I've never seen before so im impressed

the shirt does not have that much detail and looks like a non real shirt.

I love the way you made it seem that you are actually touching his hand and that would have taken a while to get it just right and this is just amazing to look at

I really enjoy how much effort you put in this pic but just have to be careful about the lines still this will go into my favs

<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="10" height="10" alt=":bulletgreen:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="209" title="Bullet; Green"/> Vision: 5/5 <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="17" height="16" alt=":star:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="450" title="Star!"/>
I rate the vision as 5/5<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="17" height="16" alt=":star:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="450" title="Star!"/> because it's very well brought to life. I love the effects you've given with your fingers "melding" into the computer screen.
<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="10" height="10" alt=":bulletgreen:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="209" title="Bullet; Green"/> Originality: 5/5 <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="17" height="16" alt=":star:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="450" title="Star!"/>
I have yet to see an image or anything similar to this, so I have rated it 5/5<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="17" height="16" alt=":star:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="450" title="Star!"/>'s.

I believe this would be considered technique. I loved how you made it appear that your fingers are going into the screen. The way you've created it makes me question if you've got your fingers bent or you like...edited your fingers out of it!
<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="10" height="10" alt=":bulletgreen:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="209" title="Bullet; Green"/> Impact: 5/5 <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="17" height="16" alt=":star:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="450" title="Star!"/>

This is an excellent piece of work. I'll be subscribing you to keep an eye on your wonderful art <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/>

Indeed this is a very lovely piece that I can relate greatly in more ways then ten. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=":D (Big Grin)"/> But first my critique.
The way you cross the reality with fantasy is a amazing original touch that I haven't seen before. May of us who create OC's wish to do the very same thing. The way you made your fingers and thumb cross over to the style and world your OC is in is very impressive and clever as hell. Especially when you keep the smoothness of the computer monitor and your hands in a clean set. And also the fact that you had the fingers touch makes the entire piece so real yet dream like. It gives me goosebumps when I see it. Very awesome job at hiding your tip of the fingers that was in the screen, most artist would fell at that tiny of a detail.
Above all the effort and style is amazing! And you did an amazing job. And ya OC is quite the hunk. I hope great things come to you and your new OC's future!!!!
