My Bio
Hi there! Name's Mirage-Epoque, but you can just call me Mirage.

I don't know what else to write about myself than that I mostly draw fanart, but I harbour wishes to becoming an illustrator or draw my own comics someday. Though, from how things are looking right now I've got a long way to go before I can reach that goal, but I'll get there! Until then what you'll see here will be pretty crappy, but it's my crap and I'm slowly learning it can't be absolutely perfect from the get-go, but I can at least learn from it's flaws to become a little better til next time. :)

So until next time; Stay awesome and take care of yourselves!

One day I'll maybe put up a huge list of my favorite books here too.
Favourite Writers
Same as above!

My pencils, erasure, paper, ink, nibs, my wabcom board and last, but not the least my scanner.

Is this epic? This is epic. What first catches my attention is the very bootiful boots on that magnificent chest. The choice of colors are very vibrant (which fits so well with Boots upbeat attitude) and pleasent to look at. And the flowerly patterns in the background stands out, but not too much that they take away the main focus from the Bootman. The last part that makes this even more charming, is that the party hat has a little boot too on top of it.

Thank you so very very much for all the bootiful gifts, Sid! I will look at them whenever I'll feel a bit down. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="=)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="390" title="=) (Smile)"/> <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h…" width="38" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="160" title="Hug"/>

Boots away! C:
Aww you...! I hope my belated gift will give you as much happiness as your gifts has given me! =)
It really shows! You've done an amazing job with the pixels, Sidra! :D

I'm very amazed by the work you've put into making this icon. You've included everything that makes this little tyke for who they are. The fabulous boots on the chest, the round eyes, the cheeky little smile and the hair's shape along with the curled hair antenna. What put the cherry on top of this gift sundae is how you made Bootman shrug! I love it, it's so in character and feels like so me too! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h…" width="15" height="13" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="357" title="Heart"/>
Thank you so very much for making this bootiful icon! I really can't say it enough how thankful and happy this charming gift makes me.
This get eleven pair of boots out of ten!

I will do my best to keep my critique as fair as possible, but within the limits of what I know about and don't know about puppet making. This critique won't actually be based from the photograph, but from the real deal itself.

What grabbed me first when I first picked up the little rascal from it's box, was how well crafted it is. I've never created puppet or done puppet making before and not very familiar with Jim Henson and his work. Looking at this adorable scamp shows how much time and the effort the you have put into making it.
As for the detail work on the muppet/puppet. Like the fingers, the ears are bendable as well, and Plushtrap's skin/fur feels like soft fleece to the touch. I also personally find that using coathangers as rods to move the arms them clever and resourceful from a recycling perspective.

While Plushtrap does share similarities game counterpart it's based on, they aren't too many of what would make it alike into a replica, but at the same time I feel it wasn't your intention to do so either.
Seeing from the photos of both your and Henson's work, I feel it's very clear where Plushtrap's design is inspired from (the arms are the best example I can give that has one major similarity to Henson's puppets besides from the big round eyes), but at the same time it's created in it's very own uniqueness. I think it's an excellent crossover between two vast different genres where the Henson Muppet signature with the googly eyes, gives of a very curious and innocent appearance, until seeing the needle sharp teeth underneath which, in turn, gives a very nice contrast between cuddly and dangerous, cuteness with lots of personality that bites fingers off!

I really can't thank you enough for this wonderful and awesome gift, Kim!
