in 1995 I started my first pen and paper roleplaying campaign and we realized soon that a generic DnD setting wasn't the stuff we wanted to use.
So we tailored and worked and came up with our own homebrew fiction - still generic in a lot of ways but with a few personal twists and carefuly intruduced plots...
Today Emmergens has seen 20+ campaigns and a lot of players. Our story ranges over 10,000 fictional years and nine continents.
We write down our adventures, sometimes short and only skimming the the outer layer, sometimes with every word the players had spoken in-character.
Those Chronologies are a time consuming project (mainly to me now) and to underlay my visions with visual components I sketched some of the aspects of Emmergens: character groups, equipment, maps... some on a simple piece of paper, some in my beloved sketch books.
Here I primarly will show you this sketches. Not great art, but small guides to our world. And with German text, I'm afraid... so don't be shy and ask for a translation, if you are curious.
Other sketches will be for my other RPG campaigns (Star Wars for example) or stuff I scribbled at work.
I hope you enjoy our collective output I tried to ink onto the pages of our Chronology. And have fun storming the castle...
