Mintoons

I am a cartoonist, digital artist and professional graphic designer who’s been drawing cartoons and comics since she was 12 years old. That was when I was doodling dragons in the margins of my math books.

I have spent years studying sequential art and visual storytelling as well as applying graphic design principles to create a pleasing experience for others.

My qualifications include a bachelor of animation and a postgraduate in digital design. Currently I volunteer my services at my local charity, creating a monthly workplace health and safety cartoon to be used in their email newsletter.

I have always been passionate about visual narrative and the potential it has to change a life. It is my goal to create my own visual stories through the comic medium and send them out into the world.

I am always experimenting with the Clip Studio Paint software to find new techniques, share what I’ve learned and make things easier for up-and-coming creatives in the field. I am constantly looking to improve my art skills and help others do the same.
