Wow I can't believe it's already 2014. :D I have a project in the works with a friend of mine Sam Garland called Father Robot. I'll be doing the colors for the next several months. I'm also starting on a personal project called Rescued about a used bookstore owner.

Also, I am getting married!! We are making all the flowers by hand. How come weddings are so much work? The paper has been very fun to experiment with though.

Wooooo I am back. :)

Things have been really busy for me lately, which is why I haven't been around as much. Had another surgery that required several months of recovery time (actually technically I am still recovering I guess.) so most of my art right now is in sketch form unless it is Zombie Killers. I did get hired to color a comic book called Father Robot that will be coming out at San Diego Comic Con which is really exciting.  I've also made the decision to stop posting Zombie Killers on here since this account seems to be full of fan stuff anyways. If you want to keep reading it though you can still find it here:

Also, some person posted some stuff on here that I didn't really have the energy to bother with at the time, but I might as well say something now. They harassed me on multiple outlets over something they think I spammed them with.  They also got my Tumblr deleted instead of sending a PM asking me about it like a sane person so, you know, thanks. :/

Ok that was probably my drama quotient for the year. Hopefully more finished illustrations will begin to pour out of my brain and I'll stop abusing my poor sketchbooks with scribbles.

Times are a-changin'!  It's been a wild couple of months if I'm honest.  I got a new iPad from the boyfriend which has dramatically increased my blogging/art-making for who knows why.  It's kinda great though.  Portfolio season is coming up soon too and I will be submitting along with the rest of the legions in the hope of getting a studio job this year.

It's actually been great that this winter has been so cold (well besides the arthritis - no I'm not THAT old my body just hates me!).  That along with some specialized classes have really caused me to sit down and experiment and sort out what I enjoy most about art.  It's been a good experience so far and I'm excited to bring that into Zombie Killers now that my little Christmas hiatus is over.

ANYHOO.. Keep your eye out for me and Sam Garland at BigWOW in May and watch out for more art as it will surely be increasing in regularity. :)

.. who visited me at APE! It was awesome. :) So much support.. my mind was BLOWN!! For anyone who might be interested, I'm also going to be at BigWOW again this year on May 18th and 19th with Sam Garland.  It's gonna be awesome.  More good news on the fact that I will have a run of my second book very soon.  It'll probably go up in the store on my website so keep a look out.

Otherwise, classes are still going well and I can feel myself evolving as an artist.  It's a pretty awesome feeling.  There are so many new things I want to try and experiment with that I can feel myself branching out.  Hopefully that's a harbinger of a great year's worth of art ahead.

Hey! You guys! I'm gonna have a half table at APE (the Alternative Press Expo) in San Francisco on October 13th and 14th!  I am soooo psyched.  Last year was a great time and I made lots of cool new friends. I'm hoping this year is just as exciting.  If you happen to be going you can catch me at table 534B.

In other news, Pixar class continues and I am having a great time with it.  This past story boarding class was some real torture but it really felt like I got a LOT if information out of it.  Next semester I am going to be in Advanced Character Design and I'm looking forward to trying to stretch my wings into the world of actual design.  My tendency seems to lean towards anatomical correctness, so I'm really going to try and push it this time around and see how stylized I can get.  Wish me luck! :)

A New Year has started and, happily, it brings with it some exciting developments!

First off, the IndieGogo campaign… that I set up a few months ago to raise funding for printing another comic this year went wonderfully! It actually came out about $250 dollars higher than goal.  I'm really thrilled with how well things went and I can't thank those that donated enough for their overwhelming support. :D

Thanks to the campaign, I'll be filling out an application within the next week or so to get a table for this year's APE.  It may seem a little early, but it's always a good idea to jump on these things.  I'd like to have more prints up for sale, so if anyone has any ideas for what they'd like to see as a print (Zombie Killers related or not) please let me know!

Finally, I'm hoping to have an actual web page up for the comic in the next couple of weeks.  This will help a lot with opening up my DeviantArt and blog for other things while offering a special place just for the comic alone.  If anyone has any ideas for what they'd like to see on the site, I am open for suggestions on that as well.

So far those are the things I am working on right now. :) I am looking forward to what this year is going to bring.

To those of you just coming here now because of APE.. WELCOME!! I will be posting new pages of Zombie Killers this week in the kickoff for book two. :) Thanks so much for visiting my table and grabbing some loot!  For those of you who helped spread the word, thank you SO MUCH!  APE was a huge success.  I sold a bunch of Art and comics and just overall had a fabulous time.  Everyone was extremely nice and I heard some wonderful things about my Techno Fish, which makes me really happy.  My neighbor was the owner of the comic Rocket Robinson, which you can find here &… more for younger readers, sort of a Tin Tin-esque adventure about a boy named Rocket who goes to Egypt to solve a special mystery.

For those of you who liked my Techno Fish but didn't get the chance to pick one up, you can grab them at my Etsy store here -->…

Prints of Zombie Killers art will be available there soon as well, but for now you can get them off of DeviantArt for right now.  Here are links to the two that are available -->

Once again, thanks to everyone who came to my table and helped me out.  Especially my wonderful friends for being so supportive.  This was an awesome experience and I will definitely be going again next year!

Ok so I have officially set up a little campaign on IndieGogo! :D I am so excited.. I have already received a contribution.  So anyways, here is a link to it… you can't donate anything, that's completely fine.  It would be really helpful, though, if you could spread the word of Zombie Killers around!

Anyways.. things other than that are going pretty well.  I will be having another bout of updates coming up soon!  For now, I am focusing on the story and getting everything a little bit more streamlined.  I am having a lot of fun with the comic and am so excited for the future.  I also got a tattoo.  It was stingy but also awesome and I'm sooooo happy with how it came out. :>

The trip to Korea was the most amazing experience I've had to date.   I just couldn't believe what a beautiful country it is.   The next page coming up for ZK is going to mark the end of the 1st book.  After that, the comic will go to print for APE. :D  I am also considering putting up some techno-fish as well.  Here's a link to what those look like on my blog:… table is only 3 feet wide, so I'm going to have to manage my space wisely.  Other than that, going in for a tattoo on the 10th and I'm completely psyched about it.  The artist is very talented and I'm happy to have found her.  I'm also working on a couple independent projects and MIGHT get the change to work on something that will be going to the Sy-Fy channel. :)  We'll see how that goes..  Now I just have to blaze through these projects and soon I will be having an awesome time at APE!

Woo this is the first time I've managed to get a hold of a computer in a while. :) Well, the awesome news is that I am on vacation on Korea until the 6th of August.  The not-so-happy news is that I won't really be able to update any art until I get back D: BOOOOO.  BUT I have got a lot of sketches and stuff that I've done in whatever off/hotel time I have so I will have a lot of stuff to put up when I get back. :) OK back to vacation!

In order to raise funds for APE and printing Zombie Killers, I am opening up for commissions.  I am a poor lackey of the part-time underworld so I am really hoping that commissions will make it less of a blow on my pocket book to get me comic out there.  :) If you are interested, please feel free to send me a Note!  I'm open to just about anything.  Price ranges are dependent on how long it takes to create the commission, but I am super flexible.  I am also open for 3D models.  If you'd like to see some of those, you can find them here -->   … prices listed in USD)

2. :iconfaerieink: -- PENDING

Holy shit!  I have been accepted for an exhibitioners table at APE-Con here in San Francisco!  For those of you not in the know, the Alternative Press Expo is a great place to start out for all kinds of artists who wish to self-publish.  I will be at the Concourse Exhibition Center October 1-2. :D  This is the first time I have ever gotten a table or tried to sell my art!! So exciting!  Hopefully I'm not a humongous flop, but you never know until you try, right?

On different note, what would you guys like to see at my table besides a Zombie Killers book?  I was thinking maybe some posters/tshirts or buttons or something?  I am not a zillionare, but I am willing to put together whatever's reasonable based on the feesback I get. :D  WOO APE!
Man, things have been totally nuts lately and I haven't really been drawing anything.  The boyfriend's parents are in town, and we are also trying to move.  Hopefully I'll get something done within the next day or two for ZK.  I also have a couple other things I plan on posting up here like old school pinups and the like.  I haven't spent too much time drawing lately with all the crazy. :(
Hey, everyone should check out :iconleagueof1:'s page.  :) He made a FANTASTIC piece for Zombie Killers and I totally love it.  It will blow you away! ;)…

...It's just that DA drives me crazy.  I won't get into any real reasons why, but I still look at everyone's art and stuff so hooray!

I moved my blog to

My boyfriend convinced me to start using Wordpress even though I still think it's for old people.  I moved my google blog over there too and I am actually updating the art on that so if anyone wants to drop by I'd be stuper happy!
