Well, looks like i finally decided to finish my fur-tutorial. There might still be typos around, i'm rather tired right now.

When I draw fur i rarely stick to only one tecnique and the style varies from picture to picture, but I tried to give some insight in my way of drawing fur with this tutorial.
This may or may not be helpful, but at least it's done now.

fav.me/d906t8b <- I used the thick fur tutorial for one of these test sketches. The one matching this tutorial is the oddly-shaped clump of chestnutty-yellowish fur.

you need to keep trying, you're only 15, you're doing great.
you want to learn how to do fur? you need to learn light sources, start small.

learn about how light reflects on things, build your visual library up by exploring life, you'll get better with age and experience

you can do it, you might not be able to do it now, but you can. EVERYONE starts somewhere, love your work and learn to embrace constructive criticism

you can do anything you want. when youre down and need someone to believe in you remember this comment, please.
when youre happy and looking back at how much youve improved, remember this comment

theres always someone who believes in you

(as for the brushes, most artists just use the default brush in photoshop, you can pretty much use any or tailor your own)
