For the Love of Learning

I don't consider myself much of a photographer, but when a back to school contest was announced in one of my groups I considered entering it with something, didn't know what. When I saw the message people chose to convey in their submission to the contest I found myself a little saddened, and this image began coming to life for itself within my mind. I felt the need to construct this image.

The thing is, I enjoy school. I enjoy learning. I enjoy soaking up new information, expanding my understanding of the world I inhabit, and the people therein.
I can not study full time, taking all the classes I so desire, due to chronic pain and fatigue issues, so I have to pick and choose. This year I am taking only three courses, English 302, Psychology 303, and Icelandic 102.
So far I'm truly enjoying what I am learning.

I just wanted to point out that to some of us, school is a positive place, positive experience, something much loved.

This is brilliant. It has the same silent magic baroque still life radiates, it's utterly utterly beautiful.

I like the play of the different shades of off-white the book's pages have, ranging nearly into yellow and beige. And I just adore the shape of hearts.

I believe your statement, that you love and enjoy learning, it's visible!

You're welcome.

It's just the truth - it is very beautiful! Even more so, as it doesn't have an artificial touch about it (as it might have had, if "old" books would have been used).

Thank you for sharing it :-)
