Time I have no idea...

My part of the Art Trade with :iconartlessilliterate: She He asked for something weird and victorianesque. Hopefully I've managed...

About:
Organ grinders were a typical problem of the Victorian era - "most grinders seemed to be tone deaf and lacking any sense of rhythm" (Wikipedia) making horrible noises with their instruments and playing one thing over and over again - that's why she's missing her ears and instead of them has this Frankenstein style skin. Making this "weird" was a whole different thing - really, what is this weird? That's where the grinders' hair comes - I made it so the "pinkish" hair would slightly represent a brain (Frankenstein forever!) and yes, she has an invisible monkey - how cool is that?! And since I love those "circus/freak show posters" so typical for the 19th century I put my crazy little idea into just that - a freak show poster.

Step right in, folks! Come and see our lovely but slightly mad Organ Grinder and her invisible monkey! :heart:

P.S. - My scanner killed the colour... Grrr!

:iconfacepalmplz: I thought Ash is not exactly a girl name - and it's very funny that I know you're from UK and the note "male" is right next to it, but I somehow never even considered it. Lol. Sorry, I really am. ^^;

And so it seems shit continues to happen... :P

Frankenstein is the best! Ah, I'm glad you noticed :D I was hoping you would.

I guess I just come across as quite feminine... I don't mind all to much, it's usually funny more than anything else :lol:

Hard to say... I'd been going to school where we had about fifteen boys and 200 girls and I really just started now when I'm at uni to socialize with the oposite sex so it's rather hard for me to judge... Maybe that's why I expext everyone who I don't really see to be a girl... :XD:

Seems like a really odd set-up for a school. But I suppose that would make sense then :XD:

If that's odd you should have seen the residence hall: 5 floors, 16 rooms at each floor, 5 people in one room and boys were on the first floor - in three rooms. :P I never really saw much of them - only if the elevator wasn't working and I had to use the stairs... :D But even then I often didn't see them. So yes, that place where I studied was just weird. And now I'm weird (or weirder then before) thanks to it :lol: Shit happens.
