Before you had a name,
Before this world taught you

Speak smaller,
Feel less.

And pulls you back to yourself
Every time the world thinks
It has finally silenced you.

You are remembering.

You thought you’d misplaced.
And when your final breath
Slips back into the universe,
Your soul will stand there, unbroken, unashamed, a flame with a history,
a wanderer with purpose,

and chose itself
