First of all, the expression on this cat's face is absolutely priceless! I love the distance you took the photo at and that it is in black and white. That really added to the impact. I had 2 big issues with the photo. #1) The horizontal lines are crooked! This is a MAJOR pet peeve of mine! And I know that a lot of other photographers feel the same way. I can tell you that when the iPhotograph admins and and I vote on a photo submission the the group, crooked horizons or major horizontal lines in the photo is a big turnoff. This is something that can be fixed really easily in post processing. Just tug up that corner and the photo will be much more pleasing to the eye of a photographer. (Not that it was unpleasing to begin with! ) #2) My second issue with this photo is a more significant problem. The main feature of this photo, the kitty, is out of focus! Now I don't know whether or not your intentionally tried to focus on the shoe box rather than the cat but if you did, I advise against it. The impact rating of this photo would have been 5 stars if the cats face with that wonderful expression was what your eyes were drawn to first. Regardless, I still quite like this photo! Good job and just keep my constructive criticism in mind next time. I hope this helped!
