" Are you sure, we aren't lost? " asked Haitta whilst she looked at Riimi frustrated. " Yes Haitta. We're getting close! I know these areas like the behind of my horn. " Riimi responded to Haitta surely but still rather irritated. They moved swiftly in the dark places of a thickly grown forest. The trees grew near each other and bushes were thick and hard to move by. Haitta sighed and touched Riimi's flank, " Are you really sure we aren't lost? I mean.. It feels like we've been walking in circles for hours! " Haitta said to Riimi who turned to look at her and slapped her hand away from her flank with her tail, Riimi seemed rather hurt by the words Haitta said.
" For the LAST time, Haitta. I KNOW where we're going, where we are right now and I also KNOW that it seems like we've been walking in circles for hours, you should know everything in this forest looks the same, especially since the sun can barely reach in here. Just trust me this one final time or I'm sending you back to where we came from. Okay? " Riimi said to Haitta very annoyed and looked at her with a grumpy and hurt expression. Riimi had three scars on her right cheek made by another kukuri when she was just a pup. Haitta stared at Riimi's expression and sighed, " Fine. I will trust you this FINAL time, but just so you know, I don't see any prey and if we get lost, we both are screwed because of you! " Haitta responded to Riimi and then pushed her to move forward. Onwards the journey continued.
Despite the lack of the light in the forest where Riimi and Haitta were walking it, it was actually noon. It was surprisingly dark in the thick forest. No birds chirping anywhere, no prey, no butterflies, no bees, only some flies could be seen occasionally along side with some type of mosquitos too. No flowers, just bushes with poisonous berries on them, which was rather weird in both of their opinions. There were some types of dangerous snakes too, but they usually hid. The trees were thick and very long. Only some parts of the forest had some ray of sunshine getting onto the floor of the forest and on those spots, some tiny white flowers were growing. The air in the forest was humid and did well for Haitta's rubbery skin. Every slight branch was hanging onto Haitta's fluffy tail though already. The humid air was making Riimi's fur very wet and you could clearly see the fur separating into glumps that the water made.
Riimi had a very concentrated expression on her face, just like every time she was hunting, every time she would have that face and Haitta knew it. Everyone knew it. Riimi is pretty nice from her behavior, but, she doesn't let nearly anyone see it. Riimi let Haitta pretty close to her and Haitta sees a lot of good in Riimi's behavior even if it is just slight differences. There is a lot of good in her but nobody can really see that. Haitta herself is rather calm and cool from her behavior, she doesn't really mind about other kukuris even though she likes to spend time with someone who would be around her a lot. Their personalities go well hand in hand, Haitta won't get into Riimi's skin and Riimi won't really push Haitta away. They make great friends with that, and that's the reason Riimi asked Haitta to join to this quest to find the beloved ravine.
This beloved Ravine is a place Riimi just ADORES! It's her favorite place to be in, but every time she goes there the road is different, there is no specific path, no route, nothing. No clues on how to get there and that's one of the reasons why she's being so concentrated. She always goes there by the feeling she got. The feeling she gets is warm, full of love and happiness, and the stronger it gets, the closer she is.
The sun was starting to set..
Haitta was starting to, yet again, doubt that Riimi knew where they were really heading. " Riimi,.. The sun is setting and I really would not want to get lost here.. It's rather scary when all we have around us is either dangerous or annoying.. Other than the humid air. " Haitta explained to Riimi who was concentrating the hardest she has ever tried. Every word Haitta said was distracting her, " We're really close.. " Riimi said in a surprisingly calm voice. She picked up in speed and started sprinting, leaving Haitta confused. " HEY! WARN ME NEXT TIME! " Haitta said and started running after her. " WHERE ARE WE EVEN GOING!? " Haitta yelled whilst Riimi was running fast like a freaking lightning. Haitta was able to keep up but the coloring of Riimi would get her easily lost into this thick forest. She ran as much as she could and as fast as she could, she has never ran this fast, not even behind any prey.
Suddenly there was a tight turn in which Haitta ran straight into a bush. She quickly got up, shook herself and went running after Riimi once again. Suddenly there was appearing more and more light and Haitta was exhausted. She followed the path in which Riimi disappeared in. Haitta saw Riimi standing there in the sunset light smiling happily, " Next time.. WARN ME! I still don't know wh- " Haitta yelled at Riimi, exhausted, panting, her words left in her throat when she turned to look. The beautiful beloved Ravine. There were beautiful birds flying around, a mightful waterfall, caves, beautiful nature and a lot of pretty grass and flowers.
" Told you.. " Riimi said in a beautiful, gentle, happy voice. She never sounded this sweet. The fur and the bright air was shaking her fur gently taking the water off of her. They finally were there where they were supposed to be. In Riimi's happy place.Kukuri's used in this MQ
