Mystical Kitsune by Miltonholmes Mystical Kitsune by Miltonholmes
Another thinly veiled excuse to draw furry things, here's a Kitsune from Japanese mythology.

I think i'm beginning to understand colour a bit better, here i've stuck with reds and pinks and I think it's resulted in a less 'noisy' image. I dunno what i'm talking about.

Also, i'm continuing to make progress on fabric shading. The last time I drew a Kimono (Namanari Hannya ) it wasn't anywhere near as believable. Still, i've got a ways to go - the overall lighting in this piece could probably be better, and i'm still learning anthro-faces.
great piece tbh, love the shading, and the body anatomy is pretty good too, but a common problem that i see many others do aswell, is treat the snout and the head positions differently. the eyes are too far apart from each other, and the snout is angled more than the head, giving it sort of a bent snout look. the forehead seems a bit too vertical as well, right ear position is a bit far off right of the head, perhaps in the future, you should work on getting the shading to match the surroundings lights and colors aswell.
What do you think?
