Hello, I want to present an interview I did for my latest project: the Fractal Report. This project is something that I am very proud of. It started during the Covid19 pandemic, stuck at home, lost in the infinite internet. I was playing around ideas of modifying old pictures to make them creepy, and I discovered Europeana.eu, an online museum with millions of public domain photographs in their digital collections. I did not plan to create the Fractal Report, it sort of happened while creating my illustrated book "Holkar's journal". In the leather-bound versions of Holkar's journal, I put a lot of notes, papers, clippings, memorabilia and all sort of things. I also put real photos, modified, altered photos that I physically add between the pages to enhance the story. It was when I was making those random photos, back in 2020 during the pandemic that the idea of the Fractal Report started to take shape. The Fractal Report was meant as a companion book to Holkar's journal -some sort

Hello there, I want to take a moment to show appreciation to everyone who supported me throughout the years! I am now ready to publish the first volume of the Fractal Report: the crazy project of modifying public domain pictures and make them creepy! I used to call it the ICSU Archives (Intrusion containment Special Unit) that is part of the OCC (Office for Containment Control). This book is available in its true original government issued spiral bound format, and soon in e-reader format. Making the Fractal Report has been a labor of love, many, many people asked me about it over the years and I can now say it is here: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1758016758/the-fractal-report-volume-1-189-pages Thank you SO MUCH for all your support. For me, everything started here on DeviantArt. The very first leather books I made were on DA, it is a very special place for me, in all the social media jungle of the interwebs. You guys are the best! Stay creative, you are awesome!

Hello everyone!I want to thank you all for your support! Without you, MilleCuirs wouldn't exist!I decided that I will not take custom orders this year.It is pretty hard to be a working-at-home dad and keep my Etsy shop running. It is a really difficult decision, but with no custom projects, I will be able to work on more creative and unique models.  I also have some great ideas for new products to come in my Easy shop! There will be a contest very soon, with a book giveaway! Keep on following me!Etienne MilleCuirs

Happy early birthday! Hope to see ore art soon!

Astounding gallery! I'd love to see this work assembled as a kind of historical text, a literary found footage type book. Pictures, captions, and a running narrative like you have in your images. Really amazing work. Super addictive, and some genuinely disturbing and shocking imagery!

I'm glad that you are active again!

What materials do you normally use when creating your books? And are you open to discuss concepts (not for request purposes because I know your busy) but just advisement for the best way to go about creating one
Were you inspired by Lovecraft?
Tho mythology you have created is awesome
Thank you! Really appreciate it!
