Oh.

My.

God.

The venue was small, the panel room was hot, the area was shady...

And this con couldn't have been full of more fun, friendly or just plain fascinating people.

This one day con in new york blew my mind apart.  The amount of work that went into it before it's inception was staggering and the result was awe striking.  This relatively small place, what could easily be called a flat or a large studio apartment was jam packed with awesome artists, amazing models, versatile stores and amazing individuals all.  I met many artists I've only known online in person, got to talk with some of the oldest members of the communities, and I drew.  BOY did I draw.

The con was in an iffy neighborhood to be sure, but it was tucked away and private so we didn't have to concern ourselves with being ousted. There was free food, an open bar, engaging and fun paneling, diverse attendance, and I do not exaggerate the numbers, this event sold out and it showed it, there was barely wiggle room at times and it was perfect, just like a SIZEcon should be!  Every member here was friendly, talkative, and more often than not entertaining, insightful, or just pleasant. We had attendees from all over america, and even a couple from out of the states! I got to meet people across communities, and draw tons of size pictures :3

My con in particular was just a blast.  I got to participate in a pair of amazing panels, and drew ad nauseum to do in-con pay what you want sketch commissions. Every person who got one was pleased with it and paid more generously than I would have ever hoped.  I got to talk to people who were fans, colleagues and just people who didn't know much about the community at all.  I got to draw a more diverse group of content than I have in ages (admittedly, a lotta people loved that 3B's shape I gave suki and asked for the same, and there were a lotta SW pics too! :D) and after what was easily a straight DAY of drawing my hand is still itching for more.

This con was a complete success, and I can't wait for the next one.  I will support this endeavour and promote it however I can.  This con showed me that our crazy little fetish niche could be something more, that we could feel a sense of camaraderie and friendship like people over any common interest.  I hope that this convention can keep going, and will pick up steam.  I'd love to see a two-day con next year, I'm very sad it has to end now.

As I board the train to go home I feel heaviness in my heart.  I hope I can keep up with all the nice people I met here this weekend and keep pumping out new fun content for everybody.  I also hope that all those who watch will give the potential of joining this convention next year a greater consideration, and that I may have a chance to meet some of you in a safe environment.

Cheers all!

What exactly was the subject of the convention? The name implies macro/micro, but it seems like there was also inflation?

Any size changing things! It was inflation and expansion, giantess, shrinking, and everything in between! There was vore, bdsm, and many other affiliated fetishes all welcomed :3

Part of me wants to say something clever or snarky but all I got is that I'm genuinely happy for you that it was a good time.

The only thing I'm having questions is: were there any inflation cosplays? I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't.

Nah, there wasn't any cosplay really other than the costumes the giantess actresses wore :3

I'm certainly glad you had fun, but I'm still not sure what to think of such an event. It seems like a lot of people would have bananas in their pockets. ;P

It could be the case, but people were respectful and polite.  The worst thing would be that  couple of people were too friendly, and that's not that bad in the first place XD Awkwardness comes in any con.

A few frisky fans seems to be the best outcome.

Glad you had fun, and that you made it home safe. ^^

I wanted to go there badly! Sadly it's on the other side of the country!

Hope they somehow make one around the Californias. ;w;

Yeah, even getting this one was a barely-doneit, with like, a failed indiegogo for a 4 day con having to downsize into this 1 dayer in a smaller place.

I do hope it was something that earned enough money to do it again period, much less in California. (And yeah, I'd be eager to go to one in Cali, darnit)
