Talking about ukulele
Do you know the location they perform in ? It is as awesome as the performance itself ...
I'm pretty sure this was recorded on the Doris Duke Foundation property, known as "Shangri-La," on the shore of Oahu's East Honolulu. It's not really a performance venue; rather, it's a registered historic site and museum for all of the Middle Eastern art that she had plundered during her lifetime. I recognize it because I've been there as part of my old career as a city planner. (I had processed a number of zoning permits/entitlements for the Foundation during my career.) Doris Duke was the daughter and sole heir to her filthy rich father's fortune. She was also a long-time mistress to Hawaii's own Duke Kahanamoku. I'm quite certain the two of them did it at this very pool where these guys are now performing. And, yes, they are awesome!
I did a little google research - and yes - about the location and the lady - just wishing that the filthy rich of today had similar innocent interests - not mentioning Epstein in this context, of course - never ever, Mr Biff.
But what a place - zoning permits give or take
The permits were meant to allow the site to continue to benefit the public thru continued/improved public access/availability. The only opposition had been from rich neighbors who complain about noise and traffic, which I feel we (i.e., the City) adequately addressed. Classic NIMBYism attempting to exclude the masses from benefiting from access/use of the historic place. Only exception to this was/is tourists abusing the shoreline access laws to turn the property's grotto/shoreline into a YouTube exploitation opportunity. Made it difficult to protect the Foundation from liability abuses. I've been gone/retired for a long time now, so don't know the status of all these matters. Looks like from your video that they're still being able to use the property for good causes. Thanks for sharing it.
