Ticklish Turnabout!

After completion of her spiritual training to become a master of spirit channeling, Maya found some time to leave her village and travel again to visit Phoenix Wright in the summer. Not expecting to actually assist in any cases, Maya changed her mind once she heard who the prosecutor would be for Wright's next case, Franziska von Karma! Once again she co-counseled with Wright as the defense in a peculiar trial between a wife suing her husband for tickling her too much. It was a small stakes case and everyone including the judge just wanted to come to a conclusion and leave the annoyingly hot courtroom. Maya was determined to stick it to von Karma again, while Franziska was dead set on finding the defendant guilty. They recessed and reconvened many times until Maya came up with the plan to serve as physical evidence herself and demonstrate how harmless it is being tickled. She asked the judge to have her restrained with straps usually used for rowdy prisoners awaiting trial. Before Maya could even finish completely explaining her idea Franziska rudely interrupted her, stating that they should do that exact same thing to her first so she can show the room how uncomfortable the situation would be. In order to end the charade of a trial, the judge immediately agreed to both requests and both Maya and von Karm found themselves seated together in front of the bench and tied up. Both women began rethinking their brashness as 4 other courtroom officials approached them and they removed Maya's sandals and pulled off von Karma's suffocating high heel boots. Von Karma, who is usually rigid and composed began to find herself laughing her head off when fingers starting tickling the bottom of her soft bare feet, which were bright red from constant wear of heels. "See hahaha, I've already hehe had enough, stop now!" Karma chuckled. "Nonsense hahahehehah, this is fun!" Maya countered. In reality Maya forgot she is really ticklish and found herself wishing she never opened her mouth. Unfortunately the demonstrators continued to be tickled as everyone was fed up with both of their shenanigans in court. The group used the ends of quill pens to brush von Karma's wiggling right foot and filter them through Maya's toes. The judge himself even lent a hand and took the opportunity to get back at von Karma and Maya who constantly had given him headaches in their numerous past cases. The pair eventually turned into a sweaty mess of dire laughter on the floor as Phoenix Wright was still too busy fumbling around with evidence in the pause menu.
