This is Din, from Respheal's Galebound. She has an online comic here and here. Please check it out!

I'm not really sure why I had his coat dissolving into leaves, maybe it's just the season , but I like how it turned out ultimately. I just wanted him to seem, well, magical. Being a magician and all. Thus I used some of what I have unofficially named "ethereal" effects in my head.

Despite using yellows, oranges, reds and purples in the background (in honor of the unique sun on his world), thing just ended up... pink. Ugh. Still all in all I am pleased with it. Enjoy!

Yeah, I think I used three different shades on his eyes.

I'm glad you like! He was fun, as I predicted. In truth, I really enjoy drawing curly and/or unruly hair. It was one of the reasons I asked to do the trade. When I saw his design the first time I was like:  !!

So, yeah... this was really enjoyable. Thanks for having such an awesome character!

We're both really looking forward to your trade. I know it will be awesome! And no background necessary, really!
