It's weird (Possible AI Scam)
Hey ya'll
Sorry this isn't an art post, but I just woke up to this so I want to post about it. This happened on Bluesky and this user was in the comments of other artists posts as well (for some reason seeming to specifically target Walten Files OCs) I don't know if they're doing this on other sites.
I received just a wall of text in the comments of one of my sketches of Bon and Annie, asking me if I wanted to allow them to use Annie in their game. They offered full credit, at least disclosed that the game uses AI openly (which I can at least appreciate to a degree) and even offered to pay me for it as commission!?
Of course naturally I went to do some digging, looked at their pages, reseatched and made a whole new email and everything and signed up to their game to check it out. It's on the app store and on PC.
The Game:
Basically the game is a town simulator where you can put your OCs and other characters into it. You can upload an image of your OC and it will generate them into a
