Your gorgeous map of The Shamutanti Hills brought me here.Thank you
I was wondering if you do commissions? Your drawing style is really cool and you don't limit yourself to to one genre or style.
Oh my gosh!! I had no idea you had a deviantArt page!! I absolutely love your cartography work.:heart::heart: I first came across your art thanks in large part to an article Chris Perkins wrote, where he mentioned you were one of his favorite cartographers. After that, I've kept an eye out for Wizards' stuff that uses your art. I love the way you use crisp black lines and painterly colors, they really make your maps quite striking. I was also super appreciative of the tutorials on your tumblr page--I love seeing an artist's methods, and getting a peek into your technique was a real treat. Thanks for being awesome and sharing beautiful art!! Keep well and healthy, my friend!
I wanted to thank you.
Your maps is the sole thing i look forward to in any of the wizards books.
Your maps are AWESOME!!
Hi Netarliargus,
I happened to be in the right place at the right time back in '05. Robert Lazzaretti was running the in-house cartography department at Wizards and I mentioned to him that I was interested in doing maps for them. He took a look at my portfolio at the time and sent me a project he needed done in a hurry. It worked out well and I kept getting projects from them. The rest is history.

Have you sent samples to their Art Drop email address? "artdrop@wizards.com" Jon Schindehette is good about taking a look at the submitted work and forwarding the stuff he likes on to the other AD's at Wizards.
Hey Mike, thanks a lot for the tip, it's certainly worth looking into.
