hows everyone enjoying their 2nd year here? (3rd year as well). you guys finding it hard to stay in a healthy work schedule?, run me through your day, maybe i can take some of whatever you guys are doing and throw it into my own schedule. i find that whenever i do work, im either really burnt out or im really into it, i cant find a middle ground for some reason. i thought by this point in the year, id have some sort of harmony within my day. let me know, you may help me in ways you cannot imagine.

Yeah I try to stay away from naps and I try to get to bed by midnight. I try to get a bunch done on the weekends also so that way I can relax some after school.

btw your journal title rhymes with Pubes

I like to stay after school until 5 or 6. Then, when I go home, I feel like I put in a lot of work already, so anything I do at home is extra. I absolutely hate packing up all my stuff and then unpacking it when I get home. It really breaks up any rhythm I may have had going during the day. I try to get to bed by about 11, otherwise I'm tired the next day and I need to take a nap. And naps just screw up your schedule completely.

One other thing. I pretty much hate all the narrative pages I did last year, and I came to the conclusion that I jumped around on them way too much. If I had 3 pages to do, I would do one panel on page 1, then one panel on page 3, then back to page 1. Working like that made the whole task overwhelming. Now I work on 1 page at a time and I don't move on until that page is finished.

No clue if you do this or not, but it's something I realized recently that really helped me out.

well, I don't do that, but ive been pretty unhappy with every narrative page ive ever done, maybe i should try that method, maybe it'll work, maybe not. I know your intention was to help me avoid that kind of work habit, but fuck it. im going for it, who knows, it could be the answer.HA
