Heavenly! Truly this is amazing! beyond words! its just so divine i mean the sunrays...the way they fall on the mountains it looks as if the clouds want to land. I like the effects, the shot is also taken from a good angle. The clarity of the image is good, we can even see the small cottage on the left side. The dull effect from the top isn't a problem for me because not everything can look bright? or else you can't differentiate...for me it looks peaceful and magical (i know 'magical' sounds cliche but yeah...) I love the grass, the mountains, the clouds, the get the pint, right? its difficult to take out mistakes! anyways keep taking such awesome pics and keep inspiring people!

Thank you for the kind review, Jasmine. :thanks:

Everything just fell into place at that moment and I was so privileged to be there and being able to capture the view. I love how you see it as if the clouds wanted to land. That's so nice. You really made me feel very grateful and I'm glad I shared this moment with you. Thanks again :aww:

Hello! I see you have requested a critique! I've never written one before so I apologise if it's off.
Vision wise, your photograph does an excellent job reflecting a strong theme. To me, it gives off an almost fantasy-like appeal, like it should be the first thing you see in the opening of a movie.
I rated the originality of this photograph as 4 stars only because I have seen many photographs of long, beautiful, sweeping landscapes. However, I still view this photograph as quite original because it captures several different types of landscapes including rolling hills, forestry, and strong mountains off in the distance rather than it being just a photograph of a hill with the sun visible the horizon.
Your technique is excellent. You have done a thorough job of capturing detail in the picture. What I think is especially well done in this picture is the attention to colour. So many beautiful photographs are oversaturated, but I think the amount of saturation in your photograph is just right. This is also due partly to the amount of contrast happening between very close and very far subject matter.
This photograph has a very high impact. To me, it looks like the beginning of a journey. The sky brings optimism and hopefulness, however the massive span of landscape gives off a foreboding, almost lost and lonely feeling. This majestic photograph makes you realise how big the world is and how minuscule humankind is in comparison.
Overall, this is a beautiful picture that I, for one, could stare at for hours.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review. :thanks:

That region is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes in Brazil. And for everyone of them, there's a story, a journey - like you said. At the end of the day, you're inevitably filled with thoughts about the scale of our world and of our place in it. That's a big part of how I felt there. Gladly you saw it too. Thanks again :aww:

That is indeed a beautiful landscape. It would be wonderful to see it in real life, however your photograph did an excellent job of capturing what it is to not only see it but feel it. Once again, wonderful job. :)
