A capture of a landscape in ice, featuring layers that shape a terrain-like environment. This is one of the most facsinating things I love about nature in wintertime. It's right up there with bubbles crystalizing in ice. It shows a lot about how ice behaves in certain conditions. Since the ice here was also thin, you can kind of see the swampy landscape underneath.
