Up and down...up and down...

Well, at least it's interesting :D

Down - Still at the same job
Up - The atmosphere has greatly improved

Down - Summer has been exceptionally cool and rainy
Up- It's not snowing and 40 below!

Down - Have had to put my Nikon D90 on hold for a little while
Up - My old Sony Cybershot still works :D

Down - My house is in a state of renovation chaos
Up - I'll have a shiny new kitchen and bathroom within the next week or two

Down - Due to the said state of chaos, it's been next to impossible to get time online
Down - Due to lack of time online I'm woefully behind on notes and messages

Up - Once I do get back online I'm going to have tons of photos and the like to upload
(Which will put me woefully behind again Up and Down all in one  )

UP UP UP - August 21 I start two weeks of holidays and I'm off to Victoria again! :excited:

Hope everyone's been having a great summer! Thanks as always for all your favs and wonderful comments. I will get to all of you individually though granted, it will take a little time. Keep well and be happy everyone!

up and down.

I have about 2,000 photos to sort.
My main image PC has a memory error and can't be used to sort anything image related without grinding to a stop.

At least you'll have a nice kitchen and bathroom soon.
Just keep thinking on that :)

The kitchen and bathroom look great! Maybe I should take some pictures of them

I can relate about sorting. I had my Sony for 2 years and took almost 10,000 pics with it (1,500 of them on my last trip to B.C. a couple of weeks ago and I wish I'd had my D80 then :D ) I still have about 5,000 to sort through on the PC. You definitely need to have your PC fixed, since if you're like me, you will continue to take pics even if the PC doesn't work properly

At one place I have a full network. One pc for email and IRC, one for research and web-sites.
One for filming and photography, and a server. (plus PSP from time to time)

Then I have Another PC for image work, laptop and PS3 on a second network somewhere else.

And the netbook bounces about with me.

As for taking photos when having a back-log still to sort.
Errr, YEAH !

Took another 60 shots today, mainly of small birds. (for garden mag)

 Well, never let it be said that you're not technologically inclined :D

You sound a lot like me (though I don't shoot for any mags) I went out for a few hours on Sat to a gravel pit outside the city. I came home with 300 more shots to sort through

So long as there are some ups then life is worthwhile, manageable and generally slightly sane. Have a great holiday :blowkiss:

Sounds like the glass is more half-full than half-empty, which is how you want it to be!

:D It's all in how you look at it, and I've always been a glass is half full kind of person.
