Description

Fighting The Witch

The day finally arrived, as the guilds finally fight against the witch that has been terrorizing the villagers of Fever Flats, Gilgamarsh,
as Andrea's friends take their different path's to head to their assigned squads, Andrea looks at the sword that she and Sabrina crafted, took a deep breath and made her way to the battlefield.

Andrea: Alright... (Nova, are you ready for this?)
Nova: (Of course, I'm on high alert to any minions that come our way and if you ever need my special ability)
Andrea: (Alright then...)
Nova: (Is something the matter Andrea? You seem to be... worried about something? is it about Gilgamarsh?)
Andrea: (No that's not it, I'm worried about Blade, He's been acting a bit off ever since-)
Nova: (Andrea, head's up!)

As Nova's words snap her out of the telepathy conversation, one of Gilgamarsh's Minion's rush at Andrea, but was taken down by a shiny Male Electrike

Andrea: Thank you, I wasn't paying attention
Akino: Whatever, just don't get in my way

said the electrike as he rushed off to fight another minion

Nova: (Rude...)
Andrea: (Well Nova, I can't really blame him, considering-)
Lin Lin: Head's Up!

Lin Lin called out as a boulder flew over Andrea's head and hit's Gilgamarsh

Nova: (Hmm, Maybe we should put a hold on these conversations for a bit)
Andrea: (Yea... I'm gonna go fight Gilgamarsh now)
Nova: (Gotcha)

Meanwhile, with Blade and Chase on the Suppression team, Blade takes down a couple of Gilgamarsh's minions and has this worried look on his face

Chase: Yo Blade
Blade: Huh, what is is Chase?
Chase: you feeling alright? you have been acting odd ever since I met Seth
Blade: Oh um, it's nothing really
Chase: Ok Cut the crap, Andrea and I Both know that you have been acting odd, now please tell me
Blade: I told you, there is nothing wrong with-
Penelope: Blade! Chase! Watch out!

Penelope called out as Gilgamarsh's tail almost crushed Blade and Chase, but thank's to Penelope and Birch they were quickly moved out of the way.

Chase: Thank's for the save guys
Penelope: It's no problem, just save your argument for later until we defeat this witch alright?
Chase: Ok- ow

Chase whimpered a bit as it appears that her ankle has been bruised

Birch: Miss Chase, a-are you alright?
Chase: Y-yea, I guess I must have bruised my ankle when you two saved us
Penelope: Birch why don't you help take Chase to the medic's, Chase can't continue fighting with a bruise that can get worse
Birch: O-Ok

Chase along with Birch carefully and slowly walk's to the nearby cavern where the Medic team has set up to help those who are hurt

Riley: Oh my what happened to you?
Chase: I bruised my ankle when a teammate and I weren't paying attention to our surroundings
Riley: Ah I see, just lie down here while I get some medical supplies to help treat that bruise
Chase: Alright

As the riolu quickly goes to grab the medical equipment Chase thank's Birch for safely bringing her to the medic's cavern, he nods back and goes back outside to go back to the decoy team

Meanwhile again back on the attacking team Andrea Along with two Alolan Vulpix's A Quilava, a shiny Eevee, and an Amaura try their best to weaken Gilgamarsh with Psychic, Extrasensory, Moonblast, Aurora Beam, Shadow ball, and Flamewheel.

Gilamarsh, getting annoyed from the attack's turns his head slightly and finally noticed that Andrea was a Starlight Sorceress, soon enough Andrea caught sight of his smirk, quickly moves the others away with her psychic, and got caught by Gilgamarsh by his tail.

Blade see's Andrea being captured by Gilgamarsh

Blade: ANDREA!

Andrea look's down to Blade as she heard his voice

Andrea: Calm down Blade! I'm alright-!
Gilgamarsh: But for how long Starlight Sorceress?
Andrea: ?! How did you know-
Gilgamarsh: I've seen your magic before, and by the time I kill these useless fools, your, I will control you to do my bidding fox!

Gilgamarsh demandingly said as he tightens the grip of his tail around Andrea.

Andrea: AGH!!!
Nova: (Andrea! hold on!)
Andrea: (Nova, help!)
Nova: (I'm trying, it's like he's preventing me from using my ability somehow)

from below Blade see's Gilgamarsh causing Andrea pain, he also notices the sword Andrea was holding on the ground

Blade: (Andrea must have dropped it...don't Andrea, I'll save you)

Blade thought as he picked up the sword and rushed to the nearest, highest, tree, as he start's climbing it he see's some of the attack team members that Andrea was with are trying to rescue her from Gilgamarsh's grasp the best they can

As Blade reached the top of the tree he climbed, Chase walk's out of the Medic cavern with her bruise treated, it's still visible, but it doesn't hurt much for her as much as it did before, she notices Blade at the top of the tree by Gilgamarsh as well as Andrea being held by his tail

Chase: I better hurry

Chase run's as quickly as she could, but Blade leap's off the tree and stab's the sword in Gilgamarsh's arm, Gilgamarsh took notice but he wasn't infected by the strength of the sword at all

Blade: B-but how?!
Gilgamarsh: Pathetic...

Gilgamarsh shook his arm so hard the sword was forcefully pulled out of him and flew Blade into a tree which knocked him out upon impact and falls into the sea of slime that Gilgamarsh created

Andrea: BLADE!!!!
Chase: N-no... I-is he?...
Andrea: I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY WITH THIS GILGAMARSH!!!
Gilgamarsh: Well, it's not like you can do anything in your situation, besides did that weak fool think he could instantly win against me with that puny weapon? Ha! how laughable

Andrea look's at the slime Blade fell into and cries believing her trusted friend has been killed.

Within the slime, however, Blade is sinking to the bottom of the self-made slime created my Gilgamarsh thinking to himself while unconscious

Blade: (Damn it! what went wrong?! why didn't the sword do anything to Gilgamarsh?!)
???: (That's because you haven't unlocked your true strength yet kiddo)
Blade: (Wha- who are you? and how are you in my mind?!)
???: (Calm down bro, I'm only here to help)

The voice that Blade doesn't recognize reviled himself to be a male Floatzel with purple eyes and lot's of scar's like he obtained them from battle

Blade: (Just who are you?)
Xander: (Name's Xander, A Strong warrior that fell in a tragic battle centuries ago)
Blade: (Centuries ago?)
Xander: (Yea, I died protecting someone I loved ages ago, but enough about me, I'm here to help you)
Blade: (Help me?)
Xander: (Mhm, you are strong, you just don't know how to unlock it, unless if you form a bond with me)
Blade: (Wait? a bond? just like the mages when they form a bond with their spirit?)
Xander: (Eh, almost but not really, unlike the spirits of the Mages, spirit's like I don't have a code, but some of them would only form a bond only to control their bodies)
Blade: (What about you then? what do you get from forming this bond with me if I accept?)
Xander: (*sighs* there is someone in this age of day I really wish to see again, but I can't survive in the living world long enough unless if I form a bond with someone, so what do you say, will you form a bond with me)
Blade: (I'm not sure-)
Xander: (Need I remind you that your friend is in danger if you don't think now, you can actually die in this demons slime and she could be his puppet)
Blade: (Damn it when you rush me, I'm gonna have to accept)
Xander: (Excellent, let's shake on it partner)

Blade hesitantly reach's for Xander's hand and shakes with him completing the contract bond between them

Blade: (So what do we do now?)
Xander: (Well first off you are gonna grab that unique spirit of evolution and let the rest flow)

Meanwhile again, above the slime, Andrea does her best to break free out of Gilgamarsh's grasp, with Chase and the other Pokemon helping the best they can.

Gilgamarsh: This is so laughable, you fool's can't beat me!
Andrea: You're wrong Gilgamarsh we will defeat you!
Gilgamarsh: Again who amongst you can even do anything to me?

Just as Gilgamarsh spoke those words a blue glow formed in the slime causing it to shake, giving Gilgamarsh, Chase, and Andrea a shocked reaction

Gilgamarsh: What Is that?

Soon enough a blue and black blur jump's out of the slime and land's on a nearby rock

The blur reveals to be Blade, but he fully evolved into a Lucario thank's to the Spirit of evolution he bought

Andrea: B-Blade!?
Chase: H-How did he?
Gilgamarsh: Impossible! My slime should have instantly killed you!
Blade: What can I say, It's gonna take a lot more than that to kill me

As Blade re-appeared as if risen from the dead Nova notices the spirit Xander behind him

Nova: (What? Is that another spirit? where did he come from?)

Nova noticed beside Chase that her Spirit companion was also checking out this unknown spirit

Chase: (Leo? it's rare for you to make an appearance)
Leo: (I'm just observing something bout your friend)
Chase: (Agh I have no time for your crap)

Blade prepares his stance with the sword in hand as he uses extreme speed to slice Gilgamarsh's tail off letting Andrea fall and catching her before hitting the ground

Blade: Are you alright Andrea?
Andrea: ...
Blade: A-Andrea?

Andrea slap's his face with her hand hard

Blade: Wha-?!
Andrea: YOU IDIOT, WHY DID YOU DO THAT?! DON'T YOU REALIZE THAT YOU COULD HAVE DIED BACK THERE?!
Blade: Andrea, I'm sorry for worrying you, but I couldn't risk losing you
Andrea: Why? Is it because of what happened at the Don's reservoir?!
Blade: Well, that and the fact is that... I love you, Andrea, and I didn't want to lose you
Andrea: W-Wait...What?

Andrea said as her face is a bright red from Blade's confession, Blade put's her down as Chase run's to them

Chase: Are you ok Andrea?
Andrea: I-I'm fine
Chase: Andrea?
Blade: Alright, Let's End this fight with the witch
Chase: But how are we going to end this? are we gonna capture him? or are we going to kill him?
Andrea: Well, he is weakened... we need to use the Apricorn cell on him
Chase: But how are we gonna use it, it weighs a ton!
Blade: Andrea, have you learned a weight reduction spell?
Andrea: I don't think so, I think it's a witch's spell
Blade: I see, well I better give it a shot then

Blade rushes over to the Apricorn cell, focus's all of his focus in a singular spot on the cell, and with all of his strength he combine's his new moves Dragon Pulse, and Extreme Speed to punch it so hard the cell quickly rolls into the weakened Gilgamarsh, trapping him upon contact

Chase: Holy Arceus.... that actually worked
Andrea: Wow, Blade's evolution must have given him a huge strength boost
Blade: Phew, glad that's over

Blade sighed in relief as Andrea and Chase walking to him, Andrea's face was still flushed after what Blade said to her

Andrea: Blade
Blade: Yea, what is it, Andrea?
Andrea: Is what you said earlier true?
Chase: Huh?
Blade: The fact that I love you? of course, it's true why would I lie about that?
Chase: Eh?!
Blade: I can understand if you have the same feeling's back, but I figured that-

Little did Blade noticed Andrea dove in for a kiss giving Blade a calmly surprised look as Chase has the face that it looks like the most unexpected thing happened.

Chase: WHA?!?!?!
Andrea: I love you as well Blade, but I was too scared to say my feeling's to you because I feared that you'd just laugh at me
Blade: You're silly, why would I laugh at you for that?

Blade sweetly said as he goes in for another kiss, but soon enough the other's meet up with the team, they saw Andrea and Blade kissing which confused them a bit but it infuriated Sol and that cause's him to go into his "overprotected brother mode" and start's to rush at Blade

Blade: Uh-Oh, I guess it's time for me to run!
Andrea: Huh?

Blade run's off as Sol run's past his sister in pure rage

Chase: Well, I guess we should explain this
Andrea: hehe yea, especially to my brother

After explaining what happened to them to the other's including Sol, it is now confirmed that Andrea and Blade are now a couple, the group start's making back to the village to rest up after the battle, and prepare to head back to Tabria after a long time.
