Cleaning Up A Shocking Challenge
As the sun rose to the dark sky, bringing light to the world, morning arrived as Chase and Seth were hyped to get their gears moving to the local shrine that Seth mentioned yesterday
Chase: I can't wait! do you think we could see the guardian there?
Seth: Well I'm not sure, since it rarely show's it's self to others, but we can hope
As the two were about to leave, Andrea quickly stop's them
Andrea: Chase, just need to make sure if you will be back immediately after your trip to the shrine
Chase: Yea, why ask?
Andrea: I just got a telepathy message from Sabrina, and she has something to give to the three of us, so make sure you come back ok?
Chase: Don't worry Andrea, I will, later
Chase said as she and Seth started to make their way to the shrine
Blade: Are you sure she is gonna be ok?
Andrea: Don't worry Blade, she's A teen, and besides she's with a friend, so she should be fine
Blade: That's what I worry about...
Andrea: What do you mean?
Blade: Never mind... let's just get this cleanup out of the way
Andrea: Ok then?
Andrea said confused as she and Blade make their way to the spot where a lot of debris block's the road, meanwhile with Chase and Seth, they arrived at the shrine entrance in awe.
Chase: Wow, the entrance look's fancy
Seth: This is just the tip of the iceberg, let's go in
Chase: Alright
As the two enter and made their way to the first room, a voice called out to them
???: Mages?, It's been centuries since I last saw them
A spirit appeared before them with the colors Black, Yellow, Orange and a bit of white on him with a unique looking Bird-like form, but he changes his appearance to show his body with small white markings, Eyes with a cyan blue/Orange mix while his arm's are holding the outer dome he was in
Seth: I-I can't believe it...
Chase: Seth... Is this the Guardian...?
Tapu Koko: Ah of course alow me to introduce myself young ones, I am Tapu Koko, one of the four guardians of these shrines
Seth: From what legend say's, you very rarely show yourself to many mon, why show yourself to me and my friend here?
Tapu Koko: That my young friend, is because I haven't seen a Mage Or Sorceress/Sorcerer in a very long time and I wanted to see if any change happend to them, but from what I see, I don't think so
Chase: So... Are we allowed to the inner sanctum?
Tapu Koko: Hmm, how about this, if you two can show me a good fight with your basic moves and Mage magic, I will alow you through and give you both something as a reward
Chase: Why do we have to fight?
Seth: Chase, Tapu Koko is well known for watching battles between pokemon and enjoying the sight of the fight, so let's enlighten him with his request
Chase: Ok if you say so
Chase and Seth each go to the other sides of the room as they prepare for their fight as Tapu Koko is floating by the hallway to the Inner sanctum.
Seth: Alright Chase, are you ready?
Chase: Heck yea I am!
She answers as she starts the fight off with a shadow ball attack, which slightly caught Seth off guard and barely dodges it
Chase: heh, how about that?
Seth: That was good, but let's see how you deal with this?
Seth Rushes at Chase and uses Thunder Fang on her tail throwing her in the air, Chase quickly uses Shadow ball again but Seth uses Dark pulse and the two attacks collides into an miniature explosion
Chase: (I Better think of a way I can turn this around....wait a second... That's it!)
Chase swiftly use's dig as she land's on the ground while the smoke was still there till it faded away with the result's of a confused Houndoom
Seth: (Where did she go? there is no way she was able to-)
His thought was broken by a direct hit of Chases Dig
Seth: (Damn)
Seth Unleashes a Dark element version of Overheat as Chase Did the Same with her Shadow Ball but with her Light Element as the moves collided again, resulting with the both of them exhausted
Tapu Koko: Alright, that's enough you two
Both chase and Seth stop and look at Tapu Koko
Tapu Koko: You two both showed off your move's excellently, especially that end when your default moves had the form's of your elemental magic, I was impressed
Seth: it's such an honor hearing that from you Tapu Koko
Chase: So, does that mean we passed your trial?
Tapu Koko: Indeed you do, now follow me
Tapu Koko float's over to the Inner Sanctum with Chase and Seth following behind him, as they entered the room Tapu Koko flies over to the monument where most of the offerings he has obtained over the years are placed in front of it
Tapu Koko: As a reward for passing my trial you two have two choices, I can teach you the move spark, or you can take this Steel-threaded Kite, now make your choice
Seth: I Don't need anything, so I'm good, what about you Chase?
Chase: Hmmm... I wish to learn Spark please
Tapu Koko: If that is your choice, then I shall grant it
Tapu Koko start's to glow, and Chase start's to feel some Electricity Flowing allover her body, when the electricity sparks fade away, Chase learned the move Spark in her moveset and it replaces her move double team
Seth: So Chase, how do you feel?
Chase: I feel, like I can do just about anything with Spark now!
Tapu Koko: That's Great to hear, but I now must take my leave, It was a pleasure to meet you both
Tapu Koko said as he fades away into the monument, and in Tapu Koko's place, a item that look's like Tapu Koko's shell fall's to the ground in front of Chase
Chase: What is this?
Tapu Koko: This is the Proof Of Conquest, I pray it will be useful to you or your team member's in the future, one day, I hope we can meet again
Tapu Koko said one more time to Chase as his voice fades away from her hearing
Chase: We better get going now
Seth: Alright then
As Chase and Seth were leaving the Shrine Seth heard Tapu Koko's voice one last time
Tapu Koko: (Seth, the path you follow will only bring destruction to those you care for, please be cautious about the choices you make...)
Seth turn's back at the shrine, worried about what Tapu Koko said and continued moving on.
Meanwhile as they are almost done clearing up the path's from the many debris that fell on it, Blade has the look as if he was lost in thought as he look's at Andrea
Blade: (With the upcoming battle on the way, I just hope I won't fail the team like I did during the Raid on the reservoir in Ywaru...)
Andrea: Blade, Can you hear me?
Blade: Wh-what?
Andrea: You sort of Blanked out, are you ok
Blade: Um, Yea, I'm good
Andrea: Ok then?
Chase: Hey Andrea, Blade We're back!
Chase called out to them as her and Seth approached them
Andrea: Welcome back you two, how did it go at the shrine?
Chase: It was Awesome! we actually met the Guardian, we completed his combat trial, I Learned spark and got this proof of Conquest from him
Blade: Trial? what kind of trial?
Seth: Tapu Koko wanted us to have a battle, we are even in our skill's, even he was impressed by our magic
Blade: well, at least you two didn't kill each other
Andrea: Blade, are you sure, your feeling ok-
Kai: Andrea!
Kai Called out to Andrea interrupting her question, as he ran to the group panting
Andrea: Kai? What's wrong?
Kai: Sapphire just saw that Gilgamarsh witch on the way back here, He's gonna be near the village within a day!
Andrea: What?! we weren't expecting him this soon!
Blade: We gotta warn the guild's about this
Chase: Right!
Seth: I'll try to warn the other team's about this, as fast as I can!
Andrea: Alright then! let's go everyone!
Said Andrea as the group split's up to warn the Guild's and Team's of Gilgamarsh's arrival.
