Fighting Bandit's By Night & Helping Those In Need By Day
As the moon arrived in the night sky, Velvet decides to go out for some fresh air, to clear her head after the journey her and Laphicet made to Tabria, so she can gather clues to the where about's of Artorious, but as she unknowingly made her way to Tabria's gates she spotted a male Braxien wearing a unique hat as well as carrying a unique looking sword in its sheath, even though it was dark she recognized that the Braxien was no other than Xavier, she recalled seeing his face from the task board on the way to the Inn.
Velvet: Hey you!
Velvet called out to the Braxien who was too tired to run, he looked ahead to see the Shaymin female
Xavier: Ugh, great just what I need right now, what do you want?
Velvet: It's obvious you stole that sword from someone, now either hand it over or else
Xavier places the sword down
Xavier: How about this? if you defeat me in a fight, I'll give you the sword
Velvet: alright then, but what do you want if you win?
Xavier: Well in my current situation, you will let me be on my merry way with this fine sword
Velvet: *sighs* Fine then, but I warn you I will not be easy to beat
Xavier laugh's at Velvet's threat
Xavier: Are you serious, you are a grass/flying type my dear, I believe I have the full advantage here!
Velvet: I warned you...
Velvet said as she start's off with a swords dance, Xavier start's using Flame charge, but Velvet flies up after her swords dance move
Xavier: Ok that isn't fair
Velvet: well, life isn't fair
Velvet answered as she swiftly flies towards Xavier and hits him with an air slash, which critically defeat's him
Xavier: Wha?! how did you?!
Velvet: Swords dance with Air Slash, will do serious damage to you, now since I won
Velvet pick's up the sword with psychic
Velvet: I will take this and take my leave
Xavier: Geez, why so mercilessness?
Velvet:...That isn't for you to know
Velvet answers Xavier's question as she flies off back to the inn since dawn was drawing near, leaving Xavier unconscious near the town gate.
As the sun fully rose Laphicet woke up from his pleasant sleep, noticing that Velvet was sleeping on the windowsill with a sword and note on the nearby table, Laphicet walked up to the table and decided to read the note which said:
"Laphicet, if you are currently wondering why I'm currently asleep and there is a sword on the table, that's because I went to get some fresh air last night, bumped into the Braxien Xavier and defeated him, he stole the sword from someone, I can imagine the sword's owner is probably in town by now, so why not go find them and return the sword to them, maybe this can clear another task from those guilds Madras mentioned yesterday, also I already got the reward for defeating that Braxien as I was coming back here, sincerely Velvet"
Laphicet: Well, I better not fail this important mission miss Velvet gave me!
Laphicet said with confidence as he grabbed the sword and made his way to the center of town.
After an hour of looking in town, Laphicet hasn't been getting any luck finding the owner of the sword, until he noticed an Absol with two short swords on his waist, looking irritated and concerned
???: Gah! it's no use, I've looked all over this town and still no sign of Stormquell, what am I gonna do?!
Laphicet took the chance and walked up to the Absol tapping his leg, the Absol turns to Laphicet, confused wondering what he wanted
Laphicet: Excuse me sir, is this sword your's by any chance?
Laphicet asked has he took the sheathed sword off his back showing it to the Absol who looked so happy
???: Stormquell! how did you get it back from that Braxien thief?!
Laphicet: I didn't, my team leader Velvet did
???: Velvet huh, well, when you see her go tell her I owe her so much for getting my sword back
Laphicet: I'll be sure to tell her
Laphicet replied as he hand's the sword back to the Absol who places the sword in his bag
???: By the way, what's your name kid?
Laphicet: Oh, um my name is Laphicet
Rokurou: Well it's nice to meet you Laphicet, names Rokurou, well I better be on my way, hope to see you and meet your leader someday, later
Rokurou thanked Laphicet as he made his way out of Tabira with his sword returned to him
Laphicet: Rokurou is a nice guy, I hope to see him soon, anyway better got find the one who issued the task of helping others and go wake up miss Velvet to get the other task's done for the day.
