Homosexual people really don’t have it easy. Aside of all the surviving homophobia, the prejudices, and all those dumbass Social Justice Warrior making very stupid things on their names, they have another difficulty: extra obstacles at the time of courting. While it’s already hard for heterosexual people to try and earn the heart of an opposite-sex individual, I see like a complete third-degree equation for someone wanting to be the couple of a same-sex person. I mean, a man or a woman can at least feel flattered when someone of the opposite sex wants to ask them for a date, but, how would you feel if you tried to be courted by a same-sex person? Well, this comic strip presents us this issue in a cute way, with this adorable character. For this Saturday:
Like I have said, I have praised the work of my friend Ava for presenting the Homosexuality Theme in a mature way. It’s not the main focus, only an additional theme, it doesn’t use cliché stereotypes, and, cleverly, doesn’t fall in that childish game of over praising the LGBT community, afraid of offending to an unhealthy level.
The only gimmick here is that we got a lesbian little girl…and that’s it. Minnie’s homosexuality is as important as Edward Elric’s Napoleon Complex: it’s just part of her personality, not her personality. Not even the stories focused in that only: we got some strips about Minnie being attracted to other girls, being stalked by a imbecile chick…and that’s it. Speaking of which:
Christine serves as the love interest of Minnie: a beautiful blonde girl with such a warm personality and great love for violin. Minnie drools for her, dreams about her, her heart beats fast when she is near her, and everything else in the Childhood Crush Curriculum.
However, like in other Kid Crushes, Christine doesn’t have a single idea of the true feeling of Minnie, and she thinks she is only her friend. Even if this is a classic move in Children Media, it gets an interesting turn when it’s about a Homosexual Love.
We all aware that things can get awkward when you realize that opposite-sex friend of yours actually is in love with you, but when that person is of the same sex, and you are straight, things get pretty uncomfortable.
I’m not aware of Christine is also a Lesbian, but the premise, like it is now, it’s pretty funny and cute.
Therefore, I found very interesting to draw Christine as a Toy Girl.
Seeing she plays the violin, I put her doing exactly that, inspired by this pic of the author herself:
Because she doesn’t have an iconic outfit, I made a Frankenstein syle combining many clothes I saw her wearing in the comic strips, including the black ribbons from the former pic I put in the description.
Do I have the right to talk about my opinion of Homosexual Love being straight? Of course yes. I don’t need to be Catholic to criticize the Pedophile Priests, or Black to talk about Martin Luther King Work. I can still understand people different than me, judge actions I feel wrong from groups I don’t belong, and my Human Rights allow me to Free Speech, and here I’m not attacking anyone. Also, if you feel I said something wrong about Homosexual Romance, go ahead and tell me, within respect. As homosexuals aren’t aliens, neither straight people, please, flip the bird to segregation, because “Cuteness shall last”.
Well, this was pretty cool. However, it’s all for today, folks. I’ll see you all next time. And speaking of which…I have to say: I feel so sorry for Charlie Brown. Man, that little doesn’t only have some bad luck, but many people really love to shit on him: many of his friends push him around, he is cruelly pranked by douchebags like those bastards that give him rock in Halloween, and then there’s that bitch of Lucy; man, how much I wish to flay her alive! Ut, in a positive side, he sometimes manages to win, assholes around him get their just dessert, and he is able to stand up to this cute girl.

he was looking for a soul to steal.
He was in a bind, he was way behind,
but he was willing to make a deal.
When he came across this young gal
sawing on a fiddle and playing it hot;
and the Devil jumped upon a hickory stump, and said:
"Girl, lemme tell ya what:
"I guess you didn't know it,
but I'm a fiddle player, too;
and if you care to take a dare,
I'll make a bet with you.
"Now, you play a pretty good fiddle, child,
but give the Devil his due.
I'll bet this fiddle of gold against your soul,
'cause I think I'm better than you!"
The girl said, "My name's Christie;
and it might be a sin,
but I'll take that bet! You're gonna regret,
'cause I'm the best there's ever been!"
Christie, rosin up your bow
and play your fiddle hard,
'cause Hell's broke in this city,
and the Devil deals the cards!
And if you win, you'll get this
shiny fiddle made of gold;
but if you lose,
the Devil gets your soul!
And no, I couldn't avoid it.
I also sense another Peanuts girl in the future based on what you explained in the description.
