Literally one of the most staggeringly beautiful pieces of art I think I've ever seen. The music fits perfectly with the hypnotic swaying of her body. It establishes her beauty and danger perfectly, obviously with your eyes being drawn to Ivy herself at first, with your gaze moving down the picture to see the gaping maw of a drooling carnivorous plant.

I personally love the expression on her face, its as if you're watching her through the bushes and she's heard you, but she can't see you. Not in a voyeuristic pervy way, more of a "person curious to see whats going on over there" kind of vibe haha.

I imagine a person walking through the forest, gathering something, they hear movement and follow their ears, peek through the bushes and see Ivy, dancing or relaxing in the clearing with vines and plants swaying/moving with her, and out of curiosity they watch, they step back onto a twig, it snaps, she hears it and this is the moment she looks up to see where it came from.

Wonderful piece. One of my favorites, I could literally watch this for hours. Fantastic job!

As always, your animations are to die for.
The shadows and hair flowing to however she and the wind moves is astonishing. I also entirely adore how real her image looks and how real the way her body and the plant are both moving. The only thing that would make it more real is if her lips were moving, such as opening and closing gently, and maybe blinking once. That's just me, though. Her pose is pretty standard for the character Poison Ivy however I would like to have seen the details of leaves on her 'outfit'. But I can tell you put so much work in the animation that it balances with what you had painted already...if that makes sense. The colours are nice and gentle, fitting to your painting style in this piece.

This definitely brings a new kind of beauty to 'plant ladies'
I entirely LOVE that you had vines placed in front of her as a 'censor' instead of the traditional black bar or blurring and that even those vines are brought to life. It's so great ! The falling flowers were also a very cute and lively touch ~

Wow... Where to start....

This animation is fantastic. The smooth transitions are nearly hypnotic. You have done an awesome job in making this one of the smoothest animations I have seen in a long time. It is not clunky or choppy.

The way the light and shadows track through the animation are flawless.

The color is outstanding. The blending of colors from dark to light and back again in this sequence show a true understanding of how light plays on surfaces.

It is this type of art and your execution of the craft in making it that show the future of art in general.

I hope you continue to produce such stunning work.

Good job!

Never in all my life have I seen a gif picture with music and sound effects. This was so mesmerizing, I felt like I was being hypnotized by Poison Ivy's beauty. The way she moves is like her tempting you to become entranced by her, as if she's using magical powers to manipulate you in falling in love with her.

The sounds of the birds and wind, and having my eyes closed, made it feel like I was in a forest somewhere by myself. I can imagine listening to this song while walking around the forest, hunting for any secrets hidden among its green trees. The music is so light and peaceful, it reminds me of adventure games like Myst and The Longest Journey.

The wonderful thing is you can use the song for medititation, yoga, or a lullaby to help you fall asleep. Right when you hear it, you immediately succumb to its aura of peace. And for that, this receives a perfect score from me!

i dont really have much to say in the way of crit, i find this particular piece to be exceptional i could easily see Ivy dancing in her garden au natural considering there wouldn't be very many people who could make it that far. im not a terribly big fan of dc and she is one of a very few of their characters i got to like(mostly because of batman:tas) i do wonder if you intend to do a pic of her random partner Harley(perhaps together?)

as the other crit mentioned i liked the interactive bits, i also liked how curvy and sensuous you made her. those hips are mesmerizing. instead of a screensaver id actually like to have pics of this quality as my desktop.

I would disagree with many of the points made by Arcane. I found the arms delightful in that I couldn't tell if they were gloves or just green or what. They were an extremity away from the focus of the sexuality of the piece and thus reflected in the legs as well. The green shading of the limbs works pull the eye back into the focus of the piece.. the face and torso. I also have to say the view of the face is great. It is aloof and does not tell you anything about her inner state. This makes for a fantastic relationship between the mythology of this character and the viewer. Ivy IS aloof and she does not give, she takes. Her face does not give, it is painfully reserved and refuses to acknowledge that you are even there. It is just showing "Here I am. Worship the beauty I represent.".
None of the parts are grotesque in an attempt to cheapen the image. She is all real in her full feminine beauty. No fake placement of bones or exaggeration to fit an ideal. She is naturally beautiful.
Very nice the interactive way and the detail of the image. Hilarious to have such fun bits added to an animation including the location of the interactive parts.
Took me a while to read the Venus Flytrap at the bottom, but clearly it isn't SHE who is about to be devoured... instead she is the bait that will trap you. A flytrap has nothing to offer a human, but anyone would gladly risk that flytrap to obtain that beauty. It is almost as if she is not a human and just a lure for us to want to possess her. Makes me think differently about plants that lure insects into doing their bidding. They probably fall into the same trap as me with their selfish desire and ignoring danger.
Very nice. Thank you for working so hard and sharing this.

Show!

I am impressed with the scope of this looped animation. You made good use of the sound an music files, as well as making the character movements seem more fluid, and not a clear "move-stop-move-stop", instead allowing for fluidity. I have also never seen a looped animation of this detail this large, which was impressive in and of itself. On a lighter note, clever and prudent placement of the fuzzed out branches. It covers up enough, while also making it clear that the focus of the eye is Poison Ivy.
Now for the not so nice part. The coloring on the arms seems shaded a bit oddly. I am unsure if you were trying to have her skin take on a green tint, or make it look like she had gloves. Either way, it looked a bit out of place. Another part that grabbed my attention was her face. So many minor details were given attention is this piece, while her face remains a neutral expression, unchanging. Maybe in future iterations, focus could be given to that, so that the character expresses a bit more life.
Overall, this was a well-done piece, and I hope you continue to strive to do more like it!

also her hands are ok since she is poison ivy

Did you try clicking on the fuzzed out branches? And then on her mouth? I don't know if you got the full effect he was trying to convey with the piece.

Superb! When I first watched this I immediately thought of Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus," except it's Poison Ivy emerging from a monstrous Venus fly-trap-like-plant. Very clever and very well-done. Like others who've already commented, the music is perfect, too. Wonderful!

Thank you very much! It was indeed inspired by "The Birth of Venus". Did you find the easteregg?

I went back and studied the animation and I cannot find the Easter Egg.

BTW, I love women with long hair and the motion of Poison Ivy's beautiful, long, red hair and her sexy body is mesmerizing and quite sensual.

You can click and interactive with the animation, you can remove the brushes, and after that maybe you could kiss her haha
