Name: Princess Faeya Crystallia [nicknames: Fae, FayFay, Alli]

Special Talent*: Making ponies smile with her glittering, shining crystalline shows

Personality: I’d imagine Faeya to be quite a subdued pony, maybe some complication from her rocky birth has left her with less energy than a normal young pony. But! Even in these circumstances, she finds her spark in making lovely little shimmering shows for her sisters and parents, bending light this way and that to make beautiful light shows and displays with the crystals around her.

Backstory: Third born child of Princess Cadence and Shining Armor [youngest of three], she was conceived soon after her elder sister, Princess Skyla, was born. After complications during Cadence’s pregnancy — likely brought on by having three children in such close succession — it was decided that the best course of action would be to deliver Faeya prematurely for both her and her mother’s safety. Born premature, she was fretted over almost 24/7, always monitored by machines and monitors to keep her alive. But regardless of all the things that were against her, the young Princess and her mother both lived. Faeya’s parents and siblings alike both adore her and are grateful that she is well and healthy, though her getting so much special attention from their parents and medical ponies alike could spark some sibling jealousy.

Your Plans For Them: I plan to add her to my own little au of MLP! It’s going to become an Infection AU eventually, but as of now I’m trying to build out how life went on a handful of years after Twilight’s Coronation, and I plan to have Cadence be some sort of large part of the story because the changelings are also a large part! [the ‘old world’ Changelings feeding on love ties into Cadence and the Crystal Empire]

Why You Want Them: I just adore the combination of blue and yellow, and think she’d be a great representation of Shining Armor’s genetics [because Flurryheart honestly takes more after her mother, poor Shining]. I would love to build on her and integrate her into my silly little AU! Probably as a daddy’s girl, whereas her sisters might be more mama’s girls.

Anything Extra: [not really directly connected to Faeya, but more so something that she’s a big part of]

The thought crossed my mind to make Skyla a bit jealous and bitter, especially as she grows up and especially as her sisters both get special treatment in comparison to herself. Flurryheart being first born, let alone the first naturally born Alicorn in Equestria’s known history, overall more liked by citizens since she was so special, and all that jazz. And then you have Faeya who had to be doted on since she was born lest she go downhill and possibly not make it, then getting attention all the time due to her chronic illnesses and overall compromised condition, getting huge amounts of sympathy and kindness and attention from all the ponies in the Crystal Empire because she’s a ‘miracle.’ And what does that leave Skyla? Why couldn’t she be special to anyone?

Name: Sweet-Apple Seasalt [nicknames: Sweets, Seasalt]

Special Talent*: Making sea-themed apple foods, often times combining sweet apple-y flavors and salty accents with a tropical apple-themed taste!

Personality: I feel this gal would have a very Fluttershy-like personality; very reserved, doesn’t talk much, can often be found walking around with her head down and trying not to draw attention to herself, etc. But! Maybe that’s more about insecurity for her? Once she gets talking, I feel she could relate and banter and talk with just about anyone anyone just fine! Her siblings would all be supporting, yet encourage her to get out of her bubble more, maybe get a stern lesson about how not everyone has to be extroverted like many of the Apple kids are hahah.

Backstory: Sweet-Apple Seasalt, then simply Sweet Seasalt, grew up on the coast with her family. For the longest time, she questioned why her cutiemark hadn’t shown up. Was it her? Was something wrong? Her grandparents — who raised her and who she lived with — reassured her that she was likely just a late bloomer, nothing to rush and nothing to be ashamed of. It’ll come in its own time, they’d say. However, when Sweet Seasalt went on a trip to visit other family further inland, she found herself particularly drawn to the farming culture of the town. Seasalt ended up spending one of the days she was in town with the farmer ponies, asking questions and observing as they tended to their crops and fields and whatnot. It was explained to her that the soil around where she lived with her grandparents was too salty or not rich enough due to being by the seaside, and the sand was simply overall poor for sustaining any plants other than weeds. With the farming advice of the town’s farming ponies, she returned home with rich, fresh soil and enough wooden planks to build raised beds! Most of them were filled with vegetables and fruits; tomatoes, strawberries, garlic, onions, blueberries. But one bed… One singular bed, she saved for something very special she had brought back from town with her; an apple tree sapling. She’d watch it day and night in the beginning, and as time went on, it grew mature enough to bear a single apple in springtime! When she picked it and took it inside, Seasalt threw together a recipe she didn’t even know she knew, and upon taking her creation out of the oven, she earned her cutiemark.

From there, she grew up and her grandparents sold their house in favor of moving into a nursing home, saying that shouldn’t have to take care of them anymore and should go out to find her purpose. Still young, but with a spark now placed in her heart by her grandparent’s words, she eventually made her way to Ponyville with her precious garden’s seeds and her lone apple tree sapling, joining the Apple Family as a young teen and being given the Apple name.

Your Plans For Them: I plan to add her to my ever growing, sorta next-gen apple family! I’m exploring what amount and what kinds of kids Applejack, Big Mac, and possibly other members of the Apple Family would have! And having some of their adopted or taken-in kids being from across the lands would bring a lot of interest to everyone as a whole.

Why You Want Them: I want the Apple Family in the future of my AU to have lots and lots of kids, like a classic farm-driven family! Not all are necessarily going to be born of the Apples, some will be adopted and others simply considered family, but still!

Name: Peachy Keen Treat [nicknames: Peachy, Peach, Keenie, PK]

Special Talent*: Making peach flavored candies and treats, most notably soft and chewy kinds of peachy treats!

Personality: As soft and sweet as her favorite kind of peach candies, Peachy Keen is most typically all smiles and kindness! However, as one of the eldest children in the Treat family, she also knows how to handle all her siblings and, by proxy, other ponies. She is the one to put her hood down gently yet sternly whenever a customer is being disrespectful or unreasonable. She will passive-aggressive her way through any situation with a cheery smile if she must, never raising her voice above a strong tone and never [directly] insulting anyone.

Backstory: Born into the Treat Family as one of Mr. and Mrs. Treats’ many middle children, Peachy Keen Treat works in- or rather, for the Treat Family’s popular sweets shop in Canterlot! From a young age, she was always a mama’s girl, and thus often times went on delivery runs around Canterlot with her [Mama Treat’s job is to deliver orders outside of the shop!]. As such, Peachy picked up on her mother’s innate ability to easily strike up conversation with other ponies and befriend them as she grew up, and now works for the shop mostly as a second delivery pony! Sure, she’ll spend time making her own candies in the back of the shop often enough, but she finds the most joy delivering sweets and treats to ponies and keeping up with repeat customers as she does so.

Your Plans For Them: I would love to add her to the Treat family as a member of their ever growing family and family business!

Why You Want Them: I have a child of the Treats that heavily relates to their Father, but not one who is a mama’s kid, so I think this gal would fit that place perfectly!

Name: Pearly-Apple Purée [nicknames: Pearl, Pearlie, P]

Special Talent*: Using Pink Pearl apples to create treats, namely purées and the like! More often than not, they’re green-and-pink colored, or green with a pink inward, like the Pink Pearl Apple.

Personality: Much like the apple she is named after, Pearl-Apple may seem unassuming at first, or even a little standoffish. But! When you get to her beautiful center, she is quite the sweet pony to be around! Being particularly proud of her work, featuring difficult to pull off half-and-half color schemes to represent her favorite apple, she is always eager to show off her process to anyone she may befriend! And often times, in an attempt to make ponies less weary of her, she will give out free samples of her tasty creations~

Backstory: As a young runaway, Pearl-Apple Purée, then Pearl Purée, felt unappreciated in her town and decided she’d get away, travel Equestria with her apple tree saplings and selling what few apples she had brought with her. Most ponies only saw the outside of the apples she so loved, declining her offers before even hearing them. But she found a place with the Apples in Ponyville only a year or so later! A member of the Apple Family found her traveling apple cart and — of course — just had to buy one, chomping into it on the spot. And what would you know! On top of the taste, they ended up loving the beautiful inner of Pearl’s apples! And so they took her in, word eventually making it to Applejack and Big Mac that this poor young pony had a hidden gem that had been overlooked til now. So, Pearl travelled across the country, being handed off from Apple to Apple, until she made it safely with her apples and saplings to Ponyville! She gladly lived with the Apple Family ever since, proudly taking on the Apple name when it was offered to her~

Your Plans For Them: I would love to make her a kind of sour-then-sweet type of character amongst the Apple Family kids!

Why You Want Them: I would like to have them to flesh out the Apple Family and their large cast of children! I want to have all sorts of personalities and unique ideas and backstories for all of them, like a huge found, pathed-together family <3

Name: Rosie BlossomBelle [nicknames: Blossom, PB, Rose] 


Special Talent*: Making plants — specifically apple tree flowers — bloom, bud, and fruit 


Personality: Mellow and easy to get along with, Blossom is the least likely out of anyone around to start trouble or get into drama. She vehemently refuses to be involved in either, warning anyone trying to rope her into their schemes or plans [usually her siblings lmao] before trotting off to be safely away from what is bound to turn into trouble. As such, she tends to avoid any issues that may arise and often pretends they don’t exist or never happened, which can cause issues sometimes. 


Backstory: I’d imagine she’s one of Big Mac and SugarBelle’s kids, maybe second born, first born being the young colt we see in the last episode of FIM.

As a second born sister, Rosie’s brother has always been very overprotective of her, as has her father Big Mac. One or both were always there by her side while she was growing up, teaching her all sorts of things and taking her on adventures around the farm. From splashing in mud puddles to picking apples in high up trees, with each day she spent with them, the closer they all got to one another! Her cutie mark came one spring, when a cold winter front blew in and shocked all the budding blossoms on the apple trees with the bitter snow that fell come nightfall. The next morning, the whole Apple Family was worried that the overnight snap of cold had ruined much of that year’s possibility for harvest. However! After the rest of the family had gone back inside to discuss how to move forward, young Rosie dragged a ladder over to the nearest tree, climbing up to the middle of its sturdy branches and looking around at all the closed up flower buds. Not knowing what else to do, she began talking to the tree — to the buds — telling them how sorry she was that this happened, but how she knows they’re strong and resilient, like her family! They’ve been through far worse, so surely they could get through this, at least she hoped so. It started with one, then another, and many more after that; all the frosted over buds on the trees began to spring back to life, blooming and blossoming all across the orchard in a big, beautiful wave. Rosie came galloping into the house, telling everyone to look at the trees! They’re blossoming! The flowers are opening up again! It was only when they saw that Rosie had gotten her cutiemark between the time they had gone inside and now that they questioned what she did? How did she do it? Well, she just told them they were big, and strong, and could definitely make it~ 


Your Plans For Them: I plan to add her to the ever growing Apple Family! Likely as one of Big Mac and SugarBelle’s children. Like her namesake, I would like to somehow work her into the story in a way where she helps everyone blossom and grow, like she does with the apple tree’s buds! 


Why You Want Them: I would like to use her to pad out the Apple Family kids roster! I want the Apple Family to be one huge family unit! 


Anything Extra: I plan to add a hat to her, much like Applejack’s but more personalized to her! And I’d imagine she had a good relationship with her aunt AppleBloom.
