This summer has been a complete washout! Say... 5 days of rain, 1 day of sun (if we're lucky) and a gloomy cloudy day makes up a typical week these days. Thank my lucky stars I don't live up North - floods everywhere, no water or electricity - I guess I shouldn't really be the one complaining X_x

Well, I went for an interview for a web designer job yesterday, and I got it! I can't believe it, I am so happy! Since graduating from college last July, I have been doing some webdesign and graphic design freelance work while learning learning and learning like crazy about HTML, CSS, web standards, a bit of PHP, and search engine optimisation. Just after I had graduated, I was going to go for some magazine design jobs and things along those lines, but my heart was really set on doing website design, so I thought I would learn as much as I could and build up a decent portfolio, so that's what I have been doing these past months. I don't want to sound like a complete stupid arse, but do you use $1 coins? Do they circulate as change, or are they more of a 'collectors thing'? I'm just making some stock illustrations at the moment, I've done UK coins, and thought US coins would be a good thing to do, also. So, let me know!
