New OC: Hisako

Sorry for not posting in a while, but here's a little something I did last month that I forgot to share. It's a new OC I came up with. Her name is "Hisako", and she's sorta inspired by the world of InuYasha.

Her story is that she was a former priestess who fell in love with a demon swordsman. One day however, the swordsman died, and wanting to carry on his legacy in ways to remember and honour him, she took his sword for herself. But because she was a human, she could not completely utilise the sword's full capacity, or draw out its latent power. So she sold her soul to a cow demon (because it was the only one she could find and because I said so) in exchange to wield her lover's sword. The other priestesses learned of this and, feeling betrayed by making a deal with a demon, they banished her and deemed her a traitor. She now lives isolated from the rest of the world in an abandoned temple along with her little goblin assistant.

Her design is a mixture of Kagomé, Kikyō and Rin's, and her kimono is based on Kumiko's from Karate Kid 2. (Plus I thought she looked really cute in Karate Kid Street Rumble). And I suppose she's a little bit like Sesshōmaru given that she has a closed-off personality and how she mostly keeps to herself, and that she has a little creature assistant following her around. But also a little bit of Kikyō given that same closed-off personality and that she used to be in love with a demon. Regardless, I hope you all like her. (And I hope to do more pics of her in future)
