amazing work! very inspirational! i know that sounds ridiculous on an image of a girl with her hair in curlers, but that's just how great your execution is - you make a girl in curlers look amazing! enough bowing down. thanks for the beautiful contributions, and keep up the great work!

omg! this is awesome!
It don't mind about how it was done, if it comes from a photo, or if it's a traditional or digital work.
It is gorgeous and that is the only important thing

I don't understand why you just don't use the photo as ref and paint it freehand? Whats the point of using the photo if you can obviously paint, well too?

thats what a buddy and mine came up with..still, I dunno. Nothing against you, I just couldn't do that, defeats the whole purpose to me.

But to each his own, keep it up

I understand, and if you're thinking that photo manipulation is less of an artform, I agree. But seeing how it is my means of making money, speed and getting the likeness of the person right are important.

For speed and work, I've been in that situation. For personal work, yeah to sound like a broken record I'd have to be 100% myself. But I understand what you mean now, thanks :D

hahaha! This is great! I feel like her sometimes. And man, does it take FOREVER to master the art of hair curlers. I also like how you stayed with the different shades of green only; it really does make it pop and more appealing. :)

thanks. I'd take that as a compliment but truthfully, it's a habit for me to make the entire image monochromatic. I can't seem to get away from that.

Maybe that's a good thing :)

Lol, it is a very very good habit. In fact, I have trouble trying to work with monochromatics; I can't help but slip to another color after painting certain colors so long. You're most welcome :blowkiss:
