One of the more common critters in Wild Blue Yonder, a jetsquid. They harvest residue both as a means of propulsion and as a food source, though they are nothing if not opportunistic and will happily eat small flying fish, bubblefish, seeds and fruit, nectar and pollen, insects, and carrion. Jetsquid come in all sizes from a few inches long like this little pink clover squid, to 30 ft long behemoths that reside in the Clouds, rarely entering the Open. A few species are social and use their ability to change colour to communicate with each other. This little butterfly will have to wait its turn at the succulent flower.
