Bulbud, the sprout pokemon
Bulbud is a small grass-type pokemon that lives in grassy fields. It moves about freely during the day, and burrows underground to stay warm, leaving only its leaves exposed. Bulbud is one of the first pokemon to emerge in the spring, poking up through the snow to slake its thirst and look for its friends. Carefree and innocent, they will only fight to defend themselves. When bulbuds are close to evolution, they move away from their groups. Bulbud evolves into bulbrash at level 18.

Bulbrash is a small grass and fighting-type pokemon that surveys the rolling hills and fields where it once roamed as an innocent bulbud. Bulbrash carry stout sticks around to defend themselves, and sometimes clash with other bulbrash for the best sticks. They still go to ground when the weather turns cold, but sometimes have to break up the frozen soil with powerful punches and kicks if they tarry too long. Bulbrash evolves into bulbarian at level 32.

Bulbarian is a medium-sized grass and fighting-type pokemon that roams hills and vales, watching over other grass-type pokemon and helping them lives out their lives peacefully. Although it is powerful and swift, bulbarians are loathe to draw their leaf-blades in anything but the defense of the weak. It is said that where a bulbarian has fallen honourably in battle, the most beautiful flower of all will sprout.
