Description

A much-needed re-do for idego's line.

Idego, the desert shrimp pokemon

Idego is a small ground-and-psychic type pokemon from the warm interior desert of Osai. They are scarce during dry periods but multiply profusely after rain. Although some people think they're related to pokemon ancestors like kabuto and petrobyte, their closest relatives are shellfish like corphish and wimpod. They use their psychic abilities to hide from predators, making them think idego is just a rock or piece of debris, though if the pokemon moves the illusion will fail. Supposedly staring into idego's third eye can cure headaches. Idego evolves into erego at level 20.

Erego, the desert shrimp pokemon

Erego is a medium-sized ground-and-psychic pokemon from the warm interior deserts of Osai. Erego burrows in the sand and gravel by day and emerges to hunt by night. It isn't particularly fast and instead draws prey to it with its third eye, with which it creates illusory terrain and objects - it can even replicate smells and sounds, so long as its experienced them before. When in danger, it makes the terrain around it seem hostile and unforgiving - in this way it can avoid a fight with minimal effort as its predators will move along to find an easier food source. Certain bird pokemon like murkrow and mandibuzz that are immune to these illusions are their greatest threat, and their only defense from them is to dig out of reach. Erego evolves into supergo at level 45.

Supergo, the prophecy pokemon

Supergo is a large ground-and-psychic type pokemon from the badlands of montane Osai. These rare pokemon mostly bury themselves in sand or hide out in caves, emerging on nights of the new moon to read the future from the stars. Using their vast psychic powers they draw prey to them which they dispatch with their crushing claws - these unwitting victims are drawn along as though under compusion and are totally at ease even as they are about to be slain. When it is not hungry, supergo is surprisingly docile and can even be convinced to reveal prophecy in the form of dream symbolism. Captive supergo are seemly coy about this ability with their trainers, though the reason for this is not known.
