Description
Top to bottom: Witchmoss, wellgrass, wyneflower
Wellgrass: Pale reeds with an indigo stem that grow along the edges of the Well. The stalks are fibrous and inedible, while the submerged tuberous roots are highly toxic. They can be ground, distilled, and then burned to produce a poisonous smoke known as Godsleep.
Witchmoss: This grey beard-like lichen can be found in cloudy, Residue-rich areas, hanging from tree and shrub branches as well as eaves and awnings unless cleared away diligently. It is a boon to spellcasters of all types, not just witches, since its fibres can be used to collect and store residue after being suitably prepared. It is the main ingredient in Residue Filters.
Wyneflower: These alpine flowers are related to rhododendrons and are often grown in Ardean gardens in a spectacular variety of colours. Their flowers are gathered to produce a potent alcohol laced with magical residue, known as Cloudwyne.
