ROOSKI TCHAI REVISITED by =micahsherrill is certainly fabulous and deserves more attention, as the suggester writes... this is an older piece that already shows =micahsherrill's skill in developing dramatic tension in both theme and composition, along with his characteristic texturing work. thanks, no it was just tea. but the setting is kyiv, ukraine. translation: russian tea.

i thought that tea with lemon and sugar in the west countries is called "russian tea".

thank you very much! the brush strokes you noticed are actually carved grooves. there is paint in the grooves though.
