OH MAN, this take has been alot of fucking time being canned, me and Daviduzzzzzz forgot about it for oh so long , but yesterday we remembered about it and finally we did it so here its hehehwhHhxc


There are 2 different timelines for the 2 different interpretations of Dustshift, the first with Underfell Chara as the killer and the second with FellDust Sans becoming king.

Timeline 1 lore:

Takes place all the way back when Chara was living with the Dreemurs, just as they’d gotten caught by Asgore and he tried to poison them.
This time Asgore’s plan failed, Chara didn’t drink the tea so he decided to take things into his own hands and kill Chara himself.
He confronted Chara, who didn’t want to fight, but at some point in the fight, Asriel, having heard loud noises, jumped in the middle of the fight to put an end to it, however he remained impaled by Asgore’s trident, dying in one hit.
Asgore stood in shock as Asriel dusted away and dropped his guard, at this moment Chara struck Asgore with full force for what he’d done, killing him as well.
Toriel soon arrived on the scene, having heard the ruckus and saw Chara covered in dust, crying.
She asked what had happened but only these words came out of their mouth:

“You are all just like them, aren’t you?”

Before even realizing, Toriel has been slashed in the chest and faded into dust.
Leaving the child to fend for themself in an underground they saw rotten just like the humans they’d left behind.

Timeline 2 lore:

This one’s pretty simple, during the events of The last Push, after Papyrus had gotten scarred by Asgore Sans acted in impulsion and prepared an attack on the king.
However, this time, Papyrus didn’t stop Sans and the powerful blow ended up killing Asgore.
This way, Sans crowed himself the new king and turned Papyrus into a mindless servant of his.
One tyrant calls another, this time maybe even worst…
