#82. So Long So Far (In light from window )

This looks quite a bit different in this light, it appears thick and wet, like icing on a cake.  I like the warm color palette with the bits of dark gray poking through, their color neutrality implies a bit of a greenish blue in contrast.  You can see that in this image better than the other.  I really like the negative look to the piece, with the light lines and dark infill.  That, along with the textures you produced here are reminiscent of the type of digital filter work you would do.  All the geometric lines in the lower half are really satisfying to look at, it's almost like a road map of a city.  I really like those darker sections around the edges, like the bottom corners, and across the top, I feel like they frame the piece, and loosely hold the composition together.  I feel like you had some opportunities here that you might not normally have for experimentation in figure drawing.  Some of the little motifs you used have a bit different of a feel with all the geometric areas, I can imagine it was an interesting change of pace.
