I cosplayed for the first time today. I was dressed up as Princess Serenity (manga version, although with anime colored hair). :kyra-sama:'s mother made the costume for me. The only disappointment of the day was that a friend had to add straps to help hold the dress in place and I had to go on without the sleeves. I was accompanied by :kyra-sama: as Queen Nehelenia, her friend as Princess Rini and another friend wearing a victorian-style dress (if I remember correctly). However, I was lucky enough to meet cosplayer *BlackMageAlodia (https://www.deviantart.com/blackmagealodia). Okaaaay... Soooo, I'm basically making this really cute doll. Everything was going perfectly so far... until I got to shading the red parts of the doll. I simply cannot shade red properly... which is why I am here to ask for advice. I don't want a pre-made colour palette. I want to learn how to do it myself. Unfortunately, when I shade red, it always ends up pale, the shading doesn't show that much and it's almost too much of a pastel colour... I will be extremely thankful for any piece of advice or link to a tutorial of some sort. I really don't want to mess my doll up. I've worked too hard on her hair. T__T

Disons que j'en ai quelques unes que j'aime bien, mais comme tous les sites Web ou les comptes deviantArt ont été désactivés, je n'ose pas trop m'en servir...
