She stood in the dry grass and watched the wonder of the sunset. Bathing in the golden light of the last warm rays, she closed her eyes, just felt the warmth and enjoyed the moment.

Bells began to ring in the distance and before her closed eyes she could see that in the very place where she was standing there would be beautiful stone buildings meant to be a meeting place where people would converse with their gods. Tall trees would stand around the buildings, ancient and dignified, and the place would breathe peace and welcome.

A smile lit her face and she was grateful to know that this place, sacred to her, would remain sacred in other times as well.
