Story: Cathan's early past is a mystery to him, he can only remember little, flashing images that sometimes appear in his dreams. His youngest, unclouded memory was when he is adoptive mother found him as a two year old boy, alone and scared in the forest nearby her home. The boy was crying and screaming, calling for his mother, his father...but nobody was showing up. So his adoptive Mother Siofra decided to take him with her. When she approached the child, she noticed that he held a hand clenched over the right side of his face. When she carefully took the childs hand away, she suddenly knew, why he was alone out here in the woods and that no parent was ever coming back for him. Cathan had terrible burning and cutting wounds over his entire right cheek and eye, but faintly there could still be made out what once was there...an elven tattoo, a rite to show which tribe the child belonged to among his kind. It seemed that his parents had tried to remove his markings, but lost the will to do so after they saw that it was a lost task. She examined the elven boy further and noticed similar Tattoos on his arms, it was indeed how she thought. The reason for this could be many, it was not uncommon among elves to shame bastard children or children who were born from a forbidden relationship among rival elven tribes. Why this boy had the markings however and was raised by his parents for two years was a mystery to Siofra. Maybe they tried to make it work, but in the end it was hopeless...so hopeless that they first tried to remove his markings by force and finally decided to abandon him. However, Siofra had a good heart and the moment she picked him up from the cold forest ground, she knew that she would take care of him as long as he needed her.

Years went by and Cathan proofed to be a difficult child, always getting in trouble and getting others in trouble as well. The wounds in his face had healed, however his eye couldn't be saved. It didn't seem to bother him much however, he was the most active child amongst his tribe, which sometimes caused problems to Siofra. The tribe Siofra lived in was a special one...it was not the first time they took orphaned or unwanted children and made them part of their community. They believed, that family was much more than just blood, it was a bond that they shared. However their motives are not entirely selfless. Most children in this community were trained to become a warrior, a bounty hunter or assassin and thus this tirbe was already well known for the services their member offered. All those trained and strong enough would leave the tribe when they would be old enough, to offer their services among their travels and make money to send to their tribe. This money would mostly be used to care for those who were ill, too old or otherwise unable to care for themselves...and of course for their adoptive parents who raised them and gave them a good life.

And so the time came, when Cathan would also leave his home. Over the years he hadn't lost his hot temper, his stuborness and his cheeky attitude, but nontheless he became a well trained warrior, ready to serve as a hired sword wherever he would be needed. Although he wouldn't admit it to anyone, even he had shed tears when he had to leave his beloved mother and his home, but he was also excited to see the world outside of his little family.

However his first experiences weren't what he had hoped for. Eleves seemed to not be respected much in the cities or in any village he had visited so far. The people approached him with disgust in their eyes, spat at him when he walked by and cursed him simply for existing. His first months, even years were very hard on Cathan and sometimes he wished he had never left his home, but after some time he simply grow used to it, learned to ignore it or spit back. The side of him who had still been a naive and young boy had died quickly, but Cathan learned to enjoy the little things...like being contracted to kill the human who just had insulted him in public and threatened to kill him in his sleep.

Over the time he spent away from his home, he met friends, foes and sometimes even lovers, although mostly for one night. It was difficult to get to know people, when they were afraid that their contact with an elf would become public and ruin their reputation. Only few stayed in his live, mostly those who were outcasts themselves, but he enjoyed their company. And even tho most people surrounding him believed him to be of an evil nature, a disgusting elf...Cathan never lost his hot temper, his stuborness and his cheeky attitude, for he would stay true to himself, knowing that his mother and his tribe would always have his back.

Boyfriend Personality: Cathan is a guy who has learned to not trust people, be it elf, human or any other kind, to easily. His trust is something you have to earn, mostly through patience and persistence. It's not difficult so spent a night with him...in that regard he is a man like most, but if you want to stay in his life you would have to be as stubborn as him. It would seem like he would fall for a fellow assassin, a warrior, but Cathan is someone who is attracted to kindness, tenderness even. He learned to appreciate people who are selfless and try to help others in a world were most only care for themself. If you manage to earn his trust and his friendship, the first steps are made, but being in an actual relationship with you doesn't cross Cathans mind for a long time. He simply has gotten used to being alone after some years outside of his tribe...and let's be honest, he got his heart broken more than one or two times and has closed off a bit after that. The realisation that he is actually in love with you hits him suddenly. It can be a random moment like when he sees you turning to him and smile, that he realizes that he can't live without that smile anymore. Chances are that he will walk right up to you in that exact moment and kiss you...but not like those sloppy kisses you shared in bed before, it will be a long and tender kiss...he wants to show you how much you mean to him through that one kiss.

Your relationship with him won't be that much different from you friendship to be honest. You still share bad jokes and drink together in the tavern, but you can feel that he looks at you more often now, that he smiles an honest smile when you talk to him and that he likes to sit closer to you when you share a drink. There will be little, but significant changes with which you can tell that he didn't lie when he said that he loved you. And there will also be...more time in the bedroom. The thought that you are entirely his makes him all fuzzy and warm and he can't just take his hands off of you in those moments. Your time in the sheets (or sometimes in other locations) can be very tender and sweet, when Cathan feels like he needs to just feel that you love him and he loves you...but other times he can get rough with you, but of course he would never hurt you. Cathan is a rather jealous young man, so when he is feeling that way, sometimes his emotions get the better of him in the bedroom...don't provoke him however, he will notice and feel a bit betrayed by your action.

Cathan would give his life for you and you know that he fell had over heals for you. You are his and he is your...and he hopes that this will be true for the rest of your lifes.

Payment plans are allowed. Please talk to me about them. However I can inform you know, that the full payment has to be done till the end of January!

If the Adoptable doesn't get pre-claimed the next 24 hours (15th of January 12 am cest time) he will be regularly uploaded the coming days.

If the Adoptable gets preclaimed I will finish him up until the 17th of January. However you will only get the full sized file and the right to use the character after full payment is done.
