Detective pikachu

So I just Saw the Detective pikachu movie, it wasn't bad at all and it made me presently surprised, sure there was a really good amount of cringe here and there. Especially that Climate change joke. Well the end of the scene makes it clean that POKEMON are the reason. So there is that, now that is out of the eay, would I recommend it? Sure, the pokemon take a little getting used to it, but after the Cubone you get used to it. And this movie kind of hits, if only for a few minutes, my dream of a webcomic but can't say anything. I won't spoil anything, but let's just say act 3 kind of threw me for a loop, but it wasn't as bad as I thought. The moive did some really clever things, but there is a few scenes from the trailer, Mr. Mine was pretty good, but you can see the jump cut they did and the Charizard fight did change a good number of things. Still, they took the story from the game and actually did make something different and maybe better.

No end credits afyer scene, so once the full crawler of the credits start to go, then it is good to go. But the credits at the start are good. Either way, go see it with your kids or younger family members, but just be glad that the political crap and such is not there. At this point I will take this for a win.
