Havildar 87th Punjabis by MercenaryGraphics Havildar 87th Punjabis by MercenaryGraphics
Havilder 87th Punjabi’s 1914.
87th Punjabi’s were an infantry regiment of the British Indian Army. They could trace their origins to 1798, when they were raised as the 1st Battalion, 14th Madras Native Infantry.
This is a portrait I did of Havildar Sohaj Kahn, whose 1914/15 Star I have the privilege of possessing.

Oh, he's a handsome gentleman!  I'd be proud too if I had knew I owned something from the actual man's equipment. ^^
