Vintage Bird Skirt

Something I started working on a few months ago. I took a freaking long break, and decided to finish it last night. Then I tested out wearing it during church this morning, and discovered I shouldn't be wearing it on a windy day :)

My first skirt!! The hemming is actually really rough and I think it's going to fray a lot around the zipper after I wash it, so I'm going to wear it while it still lives. It was on my life list to 'make a flowy skirt I wear regularly', and here we go!

That is so super cute! I wish I knew how to sew. I have a machine, but I am machine-retarded, I keep breaking it whenever I try to figure it out
