Today, thanks to the testing by one of my officemates, I learned that the dynamic text field in Flash is dependent on the font of the end user. So if the developer makes a dynamic text field using a fancy font which the end user doesn't have, the text field will appear in boring Times New Roman. No wonder I've played so many games that made use of Times New Roman in their text fields, and I wondered, "Huh? Couldn't the developer have used a more interesting font?"Next time, I'm sticking to pretty Tahoma for my dynamic text fields.
