Through The Night

Through the night,
I walk alone,

my destination,
seems quite unknown.

If I seek,
shall I find,

that simple things,
bring peace of mind.

In the late hours,
you seem to appear,

then as soon as you come,
you then disappear.

I cry to the moon,
to bring you back,

but it simply shines,
to brighten my track.

Guide me I prayed,
to some tropical zone,

but through the cold night,
I still walk alone.
