Lucius was, thankfully, spared the full extent of the Arizona sun. He instead lounged in the shade of a particularly structurally-sound building, sipping lukewarm water while his people worked on the tower. All as it should be. It was an… interesting endeavor coordinating his whole ordeal. The look on Muse’s face when Lucius had offered a dozen strong men and women to help construct the tower was rather amusing. But he had accepted with no hesitation: We could use all the help we can get, he had said. And so help he had brought. And, graciously, he was there to direct his men and keep them in line, despite how disgusting it was outside. It would be a lie to say this was no problem at all: the men at his compound were hard at work trying to make their area as safe and self-sufficient as possible. But it was a calculated loss. A few days of missed work was temporary. But a functioning radio system? Favor with a clearly powerful entity? Those were things that wouldn’t fade so easily.
