I've recently gotten into mailart, specifically handmade postcards. I'm not sure what attracts me to it, but I can't seem to stop. Maybe it's the "instant gratification" aspect - I can finish a postcard in an hour or two.
When I make a postcard, I go through the following process: sketch with pencil on blank postcard, photocopy, ink, photocopy, color with colored pencils and/or pen, cut to size, affix to another blank postcard (with gluestick and scotch tape - I'm an amatuer), and send. The first photocopy is in case I mess up the inking; the second to save me time if I (a) mess up the coloring, or (b) want to use the same base design mul
