Portraits for a project; fantasy-Renaissance story that was mostly an excuse for me to play with mythical beasts (that's a cockatrice on the end, there, and you should SEE the unicorn) and cranky sibling dynamics.
Oh dang, cranky sibling dynamics are my favorite. I really like how much of their personalities you can get from their expressions alone.
Naw, it's not the cockatrice that's looking the wrong way. He's looking to the future, while the family is only looking to the past.
